They acted like a stereotypical punter chasing losses, when he was fit and well he was wrapped in cotton wool but as soon as it all went wrong he was running in every possible race trying to get it all back.
I do find myself rooting for him though, there seems to be a more attractiveness to him now that he's up against it and on the recovery trail. |
By:
In a couple of his wins he looked nigh unbeatable. He doesn’t need to be that good tomorrow, just close to it!
![]() Good luck to him. Hope he doesn’t need scoped come Sunday. ![]() |
By:
someone mentioned earlier, cider maybe re his head, he could look fantastic and have schooled ok, but when you stick them under pressure in a race they can just fall apart, hope they have him right it would be interesting to see how the season goes
By:
You’re bang on correct Duffy, doing the best for the horse went out the window.
You getting on Loyal? Mullins has more than one line for his, just hope he comes back ok win or lose. |
By:
A race to be watched...Certainly wouldn't back the horse on the back of its last 3 runs, irrespective of what the trainer says based on home and public gallops...
By:
Nobody knows how much ability CH retains, including Hendo.
A race to savour. As a person who has won plenty on CH I hope he skates in but I will be a watcher only |
By:
Well it shouldn't be a race that many of us might have expected to see, CH going off 1/5, winning in a stroll, trainer raving but the rest of us not sure what we've seen. All three of these connections want to find out exactly what they've got as they all have question marks against them for differing reasons so they all are going to be fit and ready, tomorrow is D Day.
By:
I just want the horse not to fall again. It's a victory for the horse if he's placed; a bonus if he wins. Whichever, Constitution Hill is very unlikely to be in the same fine fettle as the season when he trotted up to win this race and the Champion Hurdle.
I hope he stays up and be sound post this race tomorrow. |
By:
Same impossible,
with Lossiemouth being re routed for the Champion (which is a race that I like despite the propensity of fallers running at that pace) I’d like to see something else show a bit of brilliance as we all know she’s good but not even the best from that stable. So for the sake of the division let’s see someone else throw their hat into it. |
By:
i just cannot see them sending cons hill unless nico genuinely thinks its still capable..if it bombs out they are open to plenty ridicule...i hope it píssés in but no suprise if beat.
By:
I think it's all or nothing with CH, he needs to show that brilliance for us to think all is well with him, the cliche that we often here about such and such only needing to be 80/90% of what it used to be is nonsense, if he's 80/90% of what he used to be then he's nowhere.
By:
Thinking it and knowing it are two entirely different things,Rico.
The CH that hacked up in the Supreme would be 1/3 against these |
By:
Interesting starting The New Lion back at this trip which could be on the sharp side.
The Mullins runner could be anything and CH could be a no show or world beater so it's on balance it's a watch race. |
By:
Lay of the year and he'll be enhanced by every bookie out there
and I'll lose me bollix if he wins... |
By:
Naturally,having such a view,you have already Layed for plenty,liamog.
Post your Lays,Bullshatter and prove me wrong. |
By:
post your lay moggy...been money there all week...
woffling? |
By:
£20,000 traded on cons hill.
much is moggys? |
By:
Almost certainly two thirds of F/A,Rico
![]() |
By:
Any time romanticism or nostalgia comes into the price of a selection it is almost always under priced as a result. There's a bias in recalling his imperious highs of Supreme etc but cold reality is his last 3 runs have been an unmitigated disaster. You could arguably forgive the falls but Punchestown is a glaring data point that the horse is gone at the game. I think he's a massive lay personally
By:
The same comments apply to you,Basset
By:
Of course.you may be correct but "Massive Lay" needs substantiating, imo
![]() |
By:
I'm still relatively new hear. Do you contribute anything to the forum apart from pathetic trolling?
By:
I ask people who claim "Massive Lays or Backs" to substantiate their claims.
It is very easy to do Bertie Basset ![]() |
By:
You appear unwell. I'll leave it there.
By:
my take is..
Cons Hill the best hurdler we have seen..2 falls just unlucky no bearing..punchestown was a disaster for woteva reason..would they run it now and face big ridicule if it couldnt run to 160? i think not but just imo. Anzadam..won 2 egg n spoon frog races..very impressive in 2 irish wins..lto beating a solid 145 horse by 11L in a canter..almost certainly 160+ horse with a bit improvement and poss more...aint ran for 10mths..trip will suit. The New Lion..improved massively last season over 2m4f+ beat 2 mid 150 horses lto..another 160+ish horse before long..dropped in trip here and not ran for 8mths... cant see other 2 winning here. an intriguing race for sure..too many imponderables imo...deffo just a guess if having a bet. |
By:
You are a two bob bluffer who cannot substantiate your claims,Bertie.
Put up or shut up ![]() |
By:
Rico, any bets on the outcome revolves around pricing CH and nobody can
By:
imposs to lay massively as cant top acc up.
By:
Or,like Bertie Basset,have F/a in there
![]() |
By:
Sentiment no part of betting
Love CH But think his time has gone Mullins fancies a new star ? Lay but not massive If ok with irons ![]() |
By:
Nothing wrong with having a view, madhatters.
It is the "Massive Lay" bullshatters that I have a problem with. All of whom cannot substantiate their view |
By:
Isn't it amazing when asked to post their "Massive Lays" the bullshatters disappear faster than the Liverpool defence
![]() |
By:
few massive layers and shortening...
By:
Another bomb out tomorrow = Retirement, win tomorrow = The Second Coming (again)...that's how fickle public opinion is.
I think most people other than layers would like to see CH come back to himself. |
By:
By:
Are you expecting CH to drift,Bertie
![]() |
By:
Bertie is yet another fantasist.
If he knew anything he most certainly wouldn't be posting about it on here. In reality, the two bob bluffer hasn't Layed a copper coin. Feel free to show otherwise, motormouth ![]() |
By:
BTW,the late players hardly advertise their intentions on the BF Forum the night before
![]() |
By:
The answer is obviously neither.
Mullins' charge an unknown but potentially top draw The lion may need further , yet naturally talented. CH enigmatic but running out of time to prove he is back, and will stay back. One to watch eh! |
