Big fan of this horse but after his performance LTO think he's best watched.
By:
depends on price Rico but at 7/4 on here more a bet than a lay. If u have any belief in Hendo a good round of jumping and it wins.
By:
I would not Lay and would be happy to see it put in a clear round after the falls and horrendous performance last time
By:
Couldn't back it after last season. 1st time might be the time to catch him but I don't like Hendo/Nico already making excuses we don't like the hurdles at Newcastle
Let it run |
By:
eye conquer wiv penzy..arny nick & nico know whats what.
By:
My favourite hurdler, i was at Sandown for his debut and have backed him in all runs since (bar LTO)
Not backing to win, but i would the 2TBP (i'm aware this will be short) Nicky will have him spot on for this race and recent reports suggest he's over his health issues. Would win easily if back to his old form. Ignore the rag, he's running for low place money Golden Ace is simply not up to this class Anzadam is an afterthought to run here and has something to prove The New Lion can win, but first race out of novice class |
By:
Overjumped last time out, fell the twice before that. Hope the horse runs well but has to be a watching brief surely?
By:
Nici is not a fan of the new padded hurdles (used at Newcastle) but borrowed some apparently last week , lets hope the horse now is .Am sure he is fit to win and would agree re the 7/4 , but then again I have 500/1 for the Arkle .
By:
I think he will make all and win .Doesnt appear to be any pace in race.Needs a clear look @ his hurdles to restore confidence. Its no good being blinded or 1/2 lengthed by opponents his greatest asset (jumping ) also been his achilles heel.
By:
wud have thought that myself geoff but this week john francombe says he wants to be stuck behind another so he can't see the hurdles until late and therefore doesn't worry about them.
By:
Surely this is a watching race if ever there was one ,but to answer the original question certainly not a backer.
By:
Exactly.jimnast.
If it is as good as it was it will batter the New Lion |
By:
You seem a shrewd bettor Andrew. But surely if you fancy him to run well, you should back him to win? I'm of the opinion he'll either bolt up or bomb out. A win bet with saver lay in the 2 to be placed market would be my idea of a bet. Of course he could scramble home for second....but you pays your money and all that!
By:
its a no bet race unless yoove heard from nicky or nico simples.
By:
If he's back to his best, he carries this field. If he scrambles home for 2nd then he's gone at the game. I'd rather back in the Win market and lay 2TP and then know this would be the last time he carried my money if he bombs out or comes 2nd

If he's back to his best

Not so sure about shrewd ![]() If he hadn't run at Punchestown in May, where he was very lacklustre, i may have gone for a win bet tomorrow, but as several have intimated, it's probably a race to watch, not bet. TNL is no mug and if fit will take some stopping, but only NH and NDB know how fit their horse is. Reports are quite positive (they were earlier this year) and i sense he is ready to run well at least, so in my opinon 2TBP is the bet based on depth of the field. I can only see 2 of the 5 actually winning. Having said that, not all punters bet odds-on and if he's silly odds, i will not bother either. In the unlikely event NH called me and said he's back to his best, i would be taking a flight over tomorrow ![]() |
By:
i may have gone for a win bet Saturday
By:
I think you do OK at the game and nick a few quid, Andrew
![]() I think that's the right call. And then if he does bounce right back to his best, you're definitely collecting. I mean, if he is back to his best, he ain't finishing second in this field IMVHO. Let's hope we see the old CH on Saturday. |
By:
I'll take some of that 66s Rico lol
By:
I'd expect CH to put up his best performance of the season first time out. Back this time, lay every time after.
By:
Got no fakin chance if they all line up absolutely nay chance....And i will tell you sumthin else i will disappear from The Forum for good if i am wrong.....At his best he would destroy this field but them Days are gawn.

Henderson thinks he has got him back to his best silly auld faker.

By:
Trouble is who is going to bottle out they wont all run.
By:
Why won't they all run? Connections of TNL & Anzadam will fancy their chances and CH has to run here.
By:
Just seems a bit to good to be true.

By:
It is pointless you promising to leave the Forum,Acey as your promises are worthless.

Never been wrong yet pal.

6/4 each of 2 and the clown with no funds says 'Got no fakin chance if they all line up absolutely nay chance'
By:
The PERCENTAGE call is to BACK Constitution Hill. Seems pretty obvious to me. 6-4 odd is more than fair.

I will be touring the shops freako. Score here pony there. Have only been caught once in 10 years. No commission no tax. Cheers.
By:
You'll get 2/1+ on here on Saturday. Plenty will be looking to taking CH on
By:
Clearly his mind looked fried before the race in Ireland, RR must be a possibility. If I was going to get involved I would wait for ir and how he acts before the race and jumps the first hurdle, assuming he starts the race. Obviously likely getting a diminished price at that point, but common sense in the circumstances.

touring shops to get ponys on a 6/4?
