Wouldn't be the first time the Clerk of Scales has got it wrong.

Presumably the CoS didn't capture the weigh-in of both, but CCTV proved Harry did weigh in.

SECRET ROAD (IRE) was disqualified and the placings revised as follows: First – VON KROLOCK, Second – BANDELLO, Third – SCENARIO, Fourth – I CAN IMAGINE (IRE). After being interviewed, the rider was suspended for 3 days and was not entitled to a riding fee.

Having heard the evidence of all parties present, the Stewards were satisfied that Davies had presented himself to be weighed with all his equipment, but the weight had not been recorded and therefore were satisfied the correct weight had been carried throughout the race and confirmed the placing of VON KROLOCK (IRE). The Stewards ordered a report to forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.

If the weight wasn't recorded how do the know what he weighed in at or am I missing something
how can the weight not be recorded in that Im guessing that is the only job to be done at that point.

Sounds like complete BS all round this race and weigh ins.
I think chucking out a 'winner' was a bigger deal than chucking the 4th placed one, so guess what happened....
