Ronnie, hope you are well. I have just had a great week turning 70 and I am glad I am that old. Couldn't face 20+ years more in this place tbh..I'll spend a good few £ over the next decade (hopefully!!) and check out. We are living in an age of decadence and anger.

what is really interesting, and emblematic, is that the Home Secretary has already said "we should not speculate". She is, of course, completely correct. But it is the fact that she has to say that, at 1030pm on a Saturday night, that illustrates the terrible state we are in.

There's a fine line between informing the public about a major incident and pure speculation. In this instance I think the coppers would have sufficient info regarding the incident, the number of injured, the perpetrators, etc.

Two men were arrested. Two terrorists with knives is possible (eg Lee Rigby) but unusual. It could be one attacker and a passenger who fought with him. The police would arrest both and sort it out later. If there is only one attacker, then it is more likely to be a mental health problem. Anyway, trains have cctv in every carriage so police will review all that, then recover cctv from whichever station they got on at, and so on back in time. |
