Top2rated - I've only ever had one forum username.

I am aware of the poster (The Headmaster) but he is not me. It's just how f4rty likes to refer to me sometimes - presumably because I am often schooling him.

I probably came close to getting banned a few times when PC was first introduced - but I have only ever been banned from the forum once. A long time ago, when Betfair first introduced the "cash-out" facility on the exchange. I got into a discussion about it's worth (or complete lack thereof) with another user and it turned out the guy I was discussing it with was Head of Product Development!

Can't remember his full name now (possibly something like Woodcock) but saw recently that he is still on the BF payroll as some sort of "Strategist".

When banned - I simply stopped using or reading the forum. Quite a few years later (I wanted to get back in touch with another poster), so I e-mailed BF to request reinstatement. They simply replied that I wasn't (according to their records) ever banned.

Does he need an agent? Good luck to him, but you have be pretty desperate to want to bet on midweek rubbish. Is he actually backing these winners?

Does that matter,DD?
He is giving a reasoned view for his selections which people are free to follow or ignore, unlike  lunatics like Kingsnake & Co

Glasgow,

Not sure what point you are raising.

It doesn't matter who raises it, but it's indisputable that hardly anyone posts pre-race on here. It is also a fact that poorer animals by definition don't maintain their form like the better one's so more luck and guesswork is needed when dealing with the lower grade which frequents midweek racing. Personally, I think most would be better off ignoring the midweek stuff (even weekends can be poor), but clearly that is their choice. All about making a profit, it doesn't really matter how you do it.

another factor is the dynamic has changed regarding prices ante post and the daily markets ,the last few mins before a race starts are crucial. ante post long range on here is a waste of time prices are often worse than what the firms are offering and the books wont offer anything unless they know it ain't running.
