The dual Derby winner Lambourn has had his potential fully exposed today.

That’s twice now Lambourn has fallen away at the business end. Maybe there’s an issue. Whatever, his previous classic wins are now devalued. Rahiebb beaten 7 by Merchant previously. Couldn’t have been seriously considered today.

It was a great run and it might be considered afters but he looked like he was keyed up in the parade, chomping and ready.
He said at the beginning of the show to Chapman that he’d been told! You can see why he was going biggest Lambourn now. He didn’t however say if it was young Rodge that had given him the nod and wink!

I’d love to know the weight of Lambourn from the Derby and now Loyal. I don’t know if the saddle cloths are all the same size from curse to course but that was hanging down his belly which was more barrel looking earlier this year. He has bulk and looks a shadow of that.
After the Derby who’d of thought he’d not get the distance?! Racing

What’s everyone’s views on Minnie Hauk now? Think she’s on the upwards trajectory unlike him? All the sounds are that she’s getting stronger as she grows.
Most likely he’ll be that as he looks gone.

Cheers 'Delashay'. I only had £10 in total @7/2 immediately after his win over Illinois and 9/4 just recently. He looked cooked when Stay True and Rahiebb came to challenge, but outstayed both. If he retains his potential and enthusiasm for racing I think he'd claim the mantle from Kyprios for Coolmore.

A wins a win and you got the price so nice, agree & next season going further - he looks made for it!
Barza thought he had it for a sec going smooth whilst Dawson was really rowing away on the inside earning every penny of his paycheck!

For sure I’ve only seen one other who stays and stays, “He could be the next Najinksy….” Brough Scott!

Frogger, the Leger was worth chump change compared to the Irish Leger which was on O'Brien's doorstep compared to Doncaster. Really embarrassing for the sport when one yard keeps hoovering up the Group 1 races. At least Fallen Angel won the Matron.

Gosden must be laughing a little at the form and his working out whilst not having to show up and being seen in a good light. How Ombudsman went past Amnat at Ascot was electric albeit on ground that didn’t suit Hamdam’s horse. One of my highlights of the season, the POW

Delacroix won well; Anmaat was 2nd. The ground must have dried up significantly. The winning time was almost 1s faster than normal. White Birch finished further behind Anmaat than previously.

White Birch at 22 here could prove astute for the Champion Stakes at Ascot given the probable softish ground. I do not think Ombudsman relishes softish ground either.

Bet Baldy Fred had his card marked that a good run was expected
He was on ITV before the race and said that he fancied the runner up, fair play he could have just kept his gob shut.

Having seen the race it was impressive how he scooted clear, that’s AOB memo take a couple of lengths out of the opposition and maintain it. The whooosh effect is definitely enhanced by the low camera angle from the car that sweeps alongside, very clever!
Soumillon said " When we walked on the track today, Aidan gave me some good tips and it worked quite well."
I’d never seen them come up that far rail in all my years, it was akin to what they do at Saint-Cloud on heavy and I imagine that those were the instructions. “Just think that you’re riding back at SC Christophe and they won’t see what happened!”
They had probably hatched that plan hoping to mug Buick off and catch him cold. The Japanese jockey certainly wouldn’t have expected that manoeuvre!

We don’t have long range forecasts do we?! Or watering and doctoring of the track? Fancy ever chipping the day of the race instead of trying to snipe AW?!

wierd camera angle on 1st showing i thought coolmore had brought them wide in to straight to leave the inside rail clear for souey to dive on to,only later angles showed how he got to far side

Delbert clearly thinks that AOB is Nostradamus in guessing how the Track would ride over a week before. Alternatively, watching Murtagh's horse coming wide in the Handicap and then sending Benvenuto Cellini to test the theory might be nearer the truth.

There’s been NO recollection or example given from anyone having seen them make this move to the far side.
To make it clear to likes of Mick Mick they had hatched the plan to catch Buick and others unawares in an effort to beat Ombudsman had he of shown up. Thus rubbing Gosden’s face in it, but he is too shrewd to have walked into the slippery one’s net.
His horses scalp wasn’t for taking nor was his or jockey!
Wonder why AOB was ever so keen to lure the Godolphin colt there?
Talking about pace and pacemakers making out that it’d be a normal sling shot around the bend and up the rail as per normal.
As said - the Japanese jockey had talked beforehand about having ridden in the race and being better prepared this time around IF the tactics had been the same.

If anybody had come on here before racing and stated that was likely to be the plan they would have been quite rightly applauded when it proved to be the case.
And that shows why the plan was an excellent one and why you can’t tell your asss from elbow.

Delilah using words like imagine and probably in his vision tells you all you need to know, not a clue. Never mind the fact that they knew Ombudsman was not lining up and a previous race had been run similarly, did AOB envision this as well as having advance knowledge of the ground when formulating this devious plan?
Had Ombudsman actually turned up what was the B plan if he had been in front at the point Soumillon made his move? Btw Delilah, substituting the word of for have, highlights how silly your criticism of Rayner was about command of the English language?

Benvenuto Cellini 1520 hrs Leop Delilah, 2f shorter but an identical ride from same jockey, same trainer? Not so genius if their plan for Delacroix was a state secret formulated long before the race as you imagine?

What is it you require an example of Delilah, understood it was a horse coming up the rail the same as Delacroix did, if so the 1520 hrs is an example? Is it true that you took viagra and it made you taller?

Only 3 of the 4 won so I’ll sit out the glory dance!
You see I’m patient don’t bet all the time and I don’t need to back 1. Whatever’s, I’d find that totally uninteresting just to pick a fav.

Just post the bet, winner or loser,Delbert,it doesn't matter. Everybody backs losers except fantasist bullshatters like you. If you had the bets you would post them in a nanosecond, just to prove wrong.
