You have to wonder what the jockeys are doing by keeping apart there after the first and not converging as one in the center!
You’re cattle trucked if you try to work out what they’ll do! ![]() |

They havent even tried to go for the stands rail racing around 3 widths shy.

Can you imagine the phone would be hot to the powers that be, 5 favourites won punters are beating us easily you need to water this near side or we will lose a fortune, it’s always been that way brown envelopes always for watering, I knew 30 years ago, they won’t allow you to keep winning, like Y , R, B, to name a few, it’s done to make you lose, so over we go to low now but it could be mixed it’s just sodded up our small advantage

There is nothing straightforward about jocks. Heaven forbid you would almost think they do their best to deceive punters. Normally if there looks like a bias it doesn't normally take this long for them to change it round.
That said I thought Rayevka was coming to win that, and didn't see it out. She wants an easier six. Connections will be hoping that Zarigana does see it out in a weak Coronation. No excuses today. |

no doubt they've put 5 mil on knowing it would be cloudy and cooler than yesterday

Diff the Aga filly lost it by tracking over, that’s having a French jock for you. She’s covered most ground.

I’d ask you all to watch back and see the team tactics by Amo.
Kia I’m glad your colt blew out! Watch (on itv) Egan stops to have the strap tightened and Rossa comes by on the other one. Looks at him and Egan visibly shakes his head, then is vocal. I’d love to know Harvey what he was saying. Ryan looked concerned. Play it back the work rider said he expected a big run from Arizona Blaze this morn. Ryan rode his in my view like a scolded cat after having missed the break to try and mess up the chances of anything that stayed far side by going too fast! Instead the strong pace helped Time For Sandals ![]() The moral winner must the Aga filly who must have covered (guess the distance) extra ground by leaving that group with the winner and ending up closest to the stands rail of all. Romans built straight roads for reason Mikel! (Head in hands) ![]() Question - was the strap tightened to keep all the others loaded that much little bit longer and waiting for the fancied Arizona Blaze? I expect you all to laugh but it’s there for those who look back. |

it really is a joke. to put 6mil on the straight course and change the track completely, knowing the forecast was for cloud.

Most of the fancied one's in the Wokingham including the very short priced favourite drawn high. Had to laugh at Segal continually making a song an dance about ignoring the draw at Ascot. Is he that clueless? Your chance on the straight course so often depends on where you are drawn. Even when you are lucky it doesn't always work. Arabian Leopard was the backed horse drawn low 33/1-16/1, but just tailed off. Every year we get the clerk suggesting the going stick is similar across the track so how is it we rarely get a mix of winners on the same day? It seems to be one side or the other, and that can change on a daily basis. How does that encourage any sort of betting in advance? People will now look at low numbers tomorrow, but who knows?

They are cheats, it's that simple. Clearly they've turned the high draw into a swamp and of course the "right" people knew. The parasite class wins again.

Time for an Independent Body to take the going stick readings of the whole course, three/four hours before racing starts and publish globally.

Golden highway avoided like the plague after yesterdays results and this morning going stick readings:GoingStick
Going Stick readingStand side: 8.7, Centre: 8.4, Farside: 8.5, Round: 7.1 on Friday 20th June at 8.15am. showing stands side to be quickest .YET not 1 horse attempts to come down the stand rail. Defies logic. |
|
By:
Let's call it as it is. Stickels was on the opening show this morning lying through his teeth. Saying he watered 5mm ALL parts of the course. The results tell us different stickels. How much did the crookies pay you to over water the stands side Thursday evening? And NOT tell everyone on the opening show eh. You were paid by the crookies to conceal the truth. How big was the brown envelope stickels?
|
|
By:
Only fair Ascot is when it is soft, Stickels cant water and as long it is a rainy week the draw advantage will hold up.
|
|
By:
Most of the the media are baffled by the change of the draw bias.
Of course they are, afraid to call out the truth. Tampered ground. No if's or but's, that is what it is. |
|
By:
What the bookmaker owned Greyhound tracks have been doing for years, Any sign of bias and flood the track. Dont forget this is going global ( worldpool ) They ( course management) are trying there hardest to make it as random as anything. imo.

So has the stands side bias been watered out , or are the jockeys brain dead? Its either 1 or both those options. The former. There’s no way they’d turn down the golden highway if it ran the same as the previous day. Some decent money on offer to them and they’d all want a piece of it. |

Just speculating, it could be bonkers hehe. Say they water heavily after racing, does the massive stand create a shadow across part the straight track in this type of weather, between watering and the start of racing the following day? Obviously early morning the sun is low, and it's the longest days of the year right now.
I notice on a map of Ascot racecourse that the stand is facing almost directly north. |
|
By:
^ that's is correct Cider but then shouldn't it have also meant the stands side dried out less quickly on the opening three days when he also watered yet clearly it was faster ground right on the stand rail - just look at the first two in the Buckingham Palace who both scrapped paint.
The v variance and change from day to day only be due to different watering on different parts of the track - which is not being divulged by the CoC. |
|
By:
The watering was probably more consistent, ie through the day in the lead up. I don't know but people only started saying that the ground was really quick on day 2. So panic watering after day 2? I imagine in the really warm weather, the moisture evaporates in direct sunlight before it can have an effect, but in the shade it will 'get in'.
So there would be some logic to the hypothesis that the ground closest to the stand side is in shade the longest. And the effect would be gradual. It would also mean that it was pretty uniform on the straight track until they reach the massive stands. Personally, I'd say it's pretty unlikely to be deliberately manipulated. |
|
By:
Think the shade question comes into play later in the year when the sun becomes lower in the sky and on soft grounnd the far side holds an advantage.
No doubt the stand side was heavily watered which meant when the jockeys/trainers walked the track they would realise this hence keeping away from it. |
|
By:
My theory though is that it's the timing of the watering, during the meeting itself. I'd say when they aren't racing it's more straight forward. In an ideal world there would be no irrigation during the meeting, but in this weather, not feasible.
