theres a blind spot under the trees at cartmel that the droners cant see but it didnt happen there. nobody except tomo spotted it

showed it on rtv, happened out of vision of the camera. the odds of a horse losing weight on the course, winning the race and it not being caught on comms or in vision. quite high !

I wonder if the missing weight cloth was ever found?

Weighing in light is still the best way to pull off a big payday if you were that way inclined. All that 1.01 beat, plus fancy prices on the eventual winner.

It would be spotted in a nano second by BF Kembo

Not if the weight cloth was never in there.

Laying a 1.01 for an absolute chunk when it is clearly winning would result in an immediate investigation

Would you be able to get a half decent payday?
By:

When: 27 May 25 16:34
Not even in the past Kembo

not any more. maybe in the good ol days but youd only do it once

if you stick up a chunk at 1.01 you wouldnt get it all taken

I can remember many years ago at Huntingdon when I had backed one of Jimmy Fitzgeralds horses called Ibn Majed with John Pegley at 7/4for a monkey.I was astounded when Hogmany made all and won.Still in a state of shock when an objection by the Clerk of the Scales came to the winner (10 lbs light).I collected and went home after a very rare occasion of good fortune,It has always happened but just luck of the draw

rico only plays last furlong.  so rico saw the winner winning, and the runner-up not winning.

so how much did he looose ?  i'm guessing nothing.  cos he neva loooses.

I have never understood why many gloat at others losses.
It's probably because they are potless peasants

not gloating irons.  just curious as to how someone who bets on the winners when he sees them winning, and lays the runner-ups at 1000 when he sees them not winning.  doesn't then get cleaned out when the winner weighs in light.

doesn't make a lot of sense.  imo.

Probably only max lays horses finishing outside the top 2. I wouldn't be regularly laying the second horse at 1000.

When you get your fingers burned (as we all have) it is hardly surprising that you don't immediately go in for a second portion after a big loss hulk

When: 27 May 25 17:41
didnt lay it till bout 3/4f out..i mistook the winning line for where people cross the track..was in 4th when i laid it..2 clicks..got 9p matched at 32 and £9.91 at 1000...rang police but they said try Rampton.

To sum it up,you are unlikely to win big I/R but you certainly can lose big
By:

When: 27 May 25 17:49
you'd think the cross-matcher might find something nearer the middle, maybe 100, backers happy, you less unhappy and might just hang around
By:

When: 27 May 25 17:51
you just clear out all the coppers left between 100 and 1000, fck all there most of the time

the irony is no one was backing it at that point, unless they were watching it on Sky Glass 30 seconds behind, more likely just greening up bots. Not exactly the notion of peer to peer.

give it up ricardo. you dont need the money and if you cant think of anything else to do it shows a depressing lack of imagination
