Was paddock side for the Acomb and he didn't look like a big horse with the naked eye. Will be interesting to see how he looks tomorrow in the flesh and will be in attendance once again. You have to say the Acomb is looking like the best juvenile race from last year. The opposition doesn't look great and I expect this lad and Wimbledon Hawkeye to battle it out tomorrow.

if they don't  think it will win THE DANTE ,why didn't they run it at lingfield easier race and if it got beat at least got some experience on an Epsom type track, obviously goes without saying don't believe a word out of tabor,s mouth

The Lingfield trial would have been ideal, but it would have come too soon for him. I'm glad Lion was not rushed to make 2000G unlike Luxembourg (finished 3rd), but was slightly injured, and missed Epsom Derby - his main target - as a result. As long as Lion has trained on, according to Mr Tabor he's, post The Dante he'll come on massively.

Almost every tipster is against Lion, a similar scenario with Auguste Rodin and City Of Troy post their dismal performances in the 2000G. i hope Lion puts up a credible performance tomorrow in The Dante.

They have a lot of bunny and there should be no reason why he can’t win this if he is their number one.
Swagman last raced in July and took the earliest trial here at Sandown, so talent should see the Lion roar even if his last run was in August. Like Swagman he’s going from 7f to 10f, they can get one ready when it’s over the right trip.
Either way he will progress and I expect that they are laughing at this years derby field or lack of it.
Hoping for a surprise however xx
