Let's hope he fancies the Lion for Epsom 2025.
By:
Fancies it in 3 weeks time though by the look on his face
By:
Tabor would put his Mother away if he thought it would benefit him
By:
no bet tomorrow but wants the lot on for the big one
By:
City of Troy in last years 2,000 Gns a classic example
By:
think fred might go 13/8's, might draw me in
By:
adele wasn't impressed either. might hold off til i see it
By:
how many multiples of 13/8 do you want?
By:
Horrible individual imo.
By:
If the Lion finishes in the 1st two I think connections will be pleased. But, the ultimate prize is Epsom on 7th June.

Was paddock side for the Acomb and he didn't look like a big horse with the naked eye. Will be interesting to see how he looks tomorrow in the flesh and will be in attendance once again. You have to say the Acomb is looking like the best juvenile race from last year. The opposition doesn't look great and I expect this lad and Wimbledon Hawkeye to battle it out tomorrow.

if they don't think it will win THE DANTE ,why didn't they run it at lingfield easier race and if it got beat at least got some experience on an Epsom type track, obviously goes without saying don't believe a word out of tabor,s mouth
By:
Try My Best, City of Troy was not a big horse (unless you listened to AOB).
The bottom line is,you cannot believe a word they say |
By:
The Lingfield trial would have been ideal, but it would have come too soon for him. I'm glad Lion was not rushed to make 2000G unlike Luxembourg (finished 3rd), but was slightly injured, and missed Epsom Derby - his main target - as a result. As long as Lion has trained on, according to Mr Tabor he's, post The Dante he'll come on massively.
Almost every tipster is against Lion, a similar scenario with Auguste Rodin and City Of Troy post their dismal performances in the 2000G. i hope Lion puts up a credible performance tomorrow in The Dante. |

Worst thing that happened to uk racing…..Coolmore imv….
By:
They need a good two or three years in the doldrums tbh…..
Gone are the days of some good famous silks….. |

Aidan O’Brien has admitted it is “a big ask” to start
Luxembourg off in the QIPCO 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on Saturday (April 30th) without a run under his belt this season, but insists “everything has gone to plan” in the build-up to the first Classic of 2022. How was Luxembourg "rushed" in your opinion, Impossible? |
By:
Is Sheikh Mo still persona non grata? He was absent at Newmarket (again) despite winning both Classics.
By:
If it wasn't for the Arabs it would be even worse.
By:
What Ballydoyle have achieved is quite incredible. They should be applauded imo. An exceptional trainer who is always so polite unlike certain Uk members of our training ranks and more important is usually right in his judgements. 8/11 winners in the UK this year. Not too shoddy is it lads.
By:
Stallion Owners and Promoters first and foremost.
I have currently lost count of the "best horse I have ever trained by AOB" in the last ten years, Nobody is saying that he is not a great Trainer, just take what he says with a pinch of salt |
By:
They had to get to that position first which took financial risk and great judgement. They didn't have oil money. Simply a fantastic operation and it's been a pleasure watching their horses run and see the offspring of their great sires produce year after year.
By:
They were and are a hundred times smarter than the Arabs but when somebody has million dollar notes pouring from the ground, they can afford to slaughter it.
BTW,Magnier and Tabor were hardly paupers |
By:
You have to go way back further than that lad. Where it all began. Look it up
By:
I know where they came from.
Tabor couldn't lay straight in bed |
By:
Do ya?
By:
Did they have million dollar notes pouring out of the ground in the early seventies.
By:
I certainly do
By:
No point in getting involved in a political debate.
Good luck with your punting |
By:
Not political just facts. Will be on the Knavesmire tomorrow to enjoy. Good luck with your punting too.
By:
The Dante will be informative and if The Lion in Winter turns up in its 2yo form it will win.
I really hope that it does but it will not be slowed down with any of mine tomorrow. I love to see great horses whoever they are trained by |

By:
Glint in his eye imo. He's putting you's away.
By:
Post your win bet Ta.

Mr Tabor has history whilst trading under Arthur Prince of course.
How much did he lose on the phone when Fujiama Crest won the last at Ascot, when a certain bookmaker did his conkers. He did chunks and you could write a book or too about it without naming any names ? |
By:
He sold the Arthur prince Chain the year before
By:
if TABOR told you where a birds nest was, ITS NO OFFERS HE,S ALREADY TAKING THE EGGS

They have a lot of bunny and there should be no reason why he can’t win this if he is their number one.
Swagman last raced in July and took the earliest trial here at Sandown, so talent should see the Lion roar even if his last run was in August. Like Swagman he’s going from 7f to 10f, they can get one ready when it’s over the right trip. Either way he will progress and I expect that they are laughing at this years derby field or lack of it. Hoping for a surprise however xx |
