The issue Henderson has is there is this uncanny knack of him saying everything is fine versus his horse being massively layed on BF.

mmm.. so what happens if nearer the race a class horse is switched into your race making the previous antepost nrnb market a mockery and your 4/1 shot a 12/1 shot all of a sudden. How does nrnb help you then?

Also what if your main opponent who was 10s turns in an amazing performance making your 4/1 nrnb shot a 12/1 nrnb shot. How does nrnb help you then?

At least taking similar shtty prices on the day of race you will know what the opposition is going to be and make informed decisions on your betting which may be having your bet on a different race where you fancy one more.

nrnb being safe is a total fallacy.

Seaside might not be the sharpest eric but he makes you look on a par with Impossible!! The difference being that unlike your fantasy AP bets he will get his money back for a non runner which is the point!!!

The point being made is it is better to wait and instead take a similar price to nrnb but on the day of the race when you know exactly what you are betting on, who is running against you and their latest form, the ground on the day, stable form at the meeting, the last previous run of your horse already known.

It’s a no-brainer, why tie your money up for weeks to be worse off not knowing all of the above if your horse DOES run in the end?

If this is too much for you to understand ask a nearby child to explain it. I doubt they would take nrnb this close to the meeting unless it was a standout price.

How thick does that make you eric for betting crap ante post prices with the exact same scenario as seaside?

Nrnb is OK if your a fav backer but kills any joy for having a multi or e/w on summit bigger, same as increased place prices, just squeezing thge life out of it.

Best value for most punters will be on bf exchange  on the day, simples.

Tote and oncourse will be worst although very similar, tote win  now a price and will struggle to beat SP in most cases.

No worries 'jimnast'. Old age makes me type the wrong word to what I'm thinking eg cringe instead of fear the worst.

"Nicky Henderson is hopeful of a more positive outlook for Sir Gino next week as the unbeaten superstar continues his treatment at Donnington Grove veterinary hospital.

The top-class novice chaser has been battling a superbug according to Henderson, who said on Monday that there was "still a way to go yet" for Sir Gino to fully recover."
