I'd point the trainers toward situations like this as the difference between them and the jockeys when it comes to being paid for an interview.

ambulance was there a while ago  they were attending to him

That doesn't sound great but they won't take any chances and will take all the time they need to stabilise  him

Michael stabilised before being taken by air ambulance to Cork University.

Hoping he gets through this,if this is accurate it's  not what we were hoping to hear.

I was there today and watched the race not a nice sight, a sombre mood descended very quickly and all our thoughts are with Michael...Please God all ends well for him...

Sending best wishes to this young jockey and hoping he recovers from his injuries, glad i was out at the time and missed this horrendous fall.

I hope his injury is none too serious. I must admit I find it stressful and sad reading threads or health reports of NH jockeys coming a cropper at the track.

Has there been any updates? The lack of news is worrying - what a poor guy.

as in the UK, updates come from the Jockeys Chief Medical Officer, none since this morning.

no change in Michael's condition, latest from Chief Medical Officer.

No further deterioration in his condition which hopefully is a crumb of good news for Michael.
