started in rear, townsend quite happy with position, travelled well in rear with townsend motionless with his hands resting on lossies back..when they quickened up 3 out lossie got outpaced..then kept on to be beaten a very respectable 2.5L.

thats how it went..100%
mullins looking for excuses you're just a silleeekkhuunt. |

She never travelled because she couldn't go the pace set by a classy flat type on a track that would have suited him. A horse who beat a very promising Gosden trained horse that will win Group races in 2025. The only Horse who could keep up with that pace and then sustain it was a ring rusty CH who just flicked a match fit 113RPR flat horse away like he was a fly.
CH has every tool in the box and after the Champion Hurdle they should forget the Aintree Hurdle and instead aim him at an Ascot Gold Cup ![]() |

Held up in rear, couldn't go the early gallop, made late headway to pick up the scraps, never troubled the winner.
Would be my form comment |
|
By:
couldn't go the early gallop
nonsense..it was happily trotting round on the snaff..townsend never was concerned till 3 out. |

comment on the sir gino thread "Think the gallop they had was no fluke and shows Constitution Hill has declined. He is too short for the Champion Hurdle imo". Gets more like Rampton every day on here.

Lossiemouth travelled like a dog and got to within 2.5 lengths. That is obvious.
|
|
By:
CH hadn't run for a year and was lame after the gallop ydc. The mare won't run in the champion. She isn't good enough.

CH is the best hurdler i've seen and the 2nd best isn't close. And I go back to Persian War.

Burdett Road is an in-form 109-rated Flat horse. Until yesterday only one horse had ever managed to beat Burdett Road over hurdles, and that horse was none other than Sir Gino.
Yet Lossiemouth beat him by 6.5 lengths. That was her best-ever run yesterday. And the time! 10.6 secs faster than Kientzheim. And only 4.6 secs above standard, while East India Express, later on, was 16.1 secs above. Yet another staggering speed figure by Constitution Hill. We were privileged to see one of the all-time great hurdle races yesterday. |

lossie done nothing rong yest..ran a decent race..next time cons wins 10L. |

Never going a yard ya daft ****.....Townend holding on to sfa in last place....Everybody could see it bar you pmfl.

Lossiemouth is no Annie Power. Her limitation was fully exposed yesterday. She was run out of her feet in the early stages given the frantic pace.

[ If Townend was holding on to nothing then how did she get to within a few lengths of the winner at the line?
The 4 runners finished in betting market order. She beat the 4th horse, who was 8 length behind Sir Gino las time out, by 30 lengths. She beat the 3rd horse, an improving 4 yo who carried 11.10 to win the Greatwood last time out by, by 6 lengths. So if Lossiemouth underperformed then so did the other 3 runners so should we just pretend the race never took place? |
|
By:
Simple she stayed on.

|
By:
She still ran great Race but could not beat The Monster.
|
|
By:
Did not under perform an ounce in my book.
|
|

And the 2 behind didnt stay?

Please keep it simple pal.

You seem to know more than Mr Mullins Rico? He was clearly disappointed in the way the mare travelled for first mile of race. Both horses will come on for race, CH for run and Lossie over futher/more testing course |
|
By:
and its Townend not townsend
|

Bow Wow

rico tells it the way he sees it..mullins tarkin sh1te...watch the fckn replay and tell me which part of the race it didnt travel?

agree steve seemed sour grapes to me from WM

If Constitution Hill had missed the race for whatever reason and Lossiemouth performed as she did @ Kempton she would now be evens with bookmakers for C.Hurdle.
