Does anyone know how you contact SkyBet for settlement dispute. I bet a dog to be in first 3 at Doncaster last night. It was clearly 3rd. You can see the video evidence, though I notice it was hand-timed, but result in RP says T6 was third. It clearly wasn't. I can't see obvious way to contact SkyBet.

Hard to believe the 6 dog wasn't 3rd Ken , even on their own Doncaster website it confirms and also no mention of a wrong result called or anything untoward

I'm glad all could confirm in the end. SkyBet would not even look at the video. I've withdrawn all my funds and have commenced the complaints procedure. Presumably their photo wasn't working properly as I note 'hand-timed' recordings, so they must have relied on someone's sight, even though these recordings exist.

Yes they do, and so do some others, offer 3 place bets in 5 dog races. This was 11/4 3 places for a 20/1 shot. As Hayden says, all down tofalse 3rd place. to be honest, I'll probably spend more than £80 worth of my time to sort it out. But very poor customer service from SktBet and they lose me as the mug punter I am, so their loss too. :D

I can't see what Skybet have done wrong here, they've settled according to the official result, the same as all bookies do.

Think that's a fair call swifty , they've unofficially weighed in or whatever it is in greyhound racing so like horse racing connections would have to appeal i reckon , bearing in mind the prize money for the winner was only a £Pony i'd imagine this result may well remain in the archives.

swifty - many bookmakers are smart enough to hold on to their clients when they can see that an error has been made. T3 was a half length clear in 3rd and the video evidence is in the public domain. It's just good business sense to do the right thing. i.e. review the evidence and pay out. But we all have different ideas of what is fair and reasonable.
