A race to forget for those who think Moore never rides a bad race. Disastrous start for the Japanese. Winner bolted up, and looked different class.

Thanks WP, it wouldn't surprise me if it's the only one I get, but it's paid for the first day.

Yeah, I'm up on the day but one winner won't be enough to end the meeting in profit. GL on Saturday.

Ran really well Hulk but definitely bumped into one there!

I assume those that can have taken advantage of Bet365 Lake Victoria super-boost 11/10, trading at 1.7 on here.

Her and Desert Flower looks well above average fillies. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top next season.

Filly got Moore out of trouble and was a class above. Loads of each-way bets down the pan on the second favourite who I suspect must have gone too quickly.

This might not have been the strongest contest, but Lake Victoria looks a very good 2yo.

Dollars or pounds?

I think the bookmakers wrote that result. Shocking performances from the front three in the market, none of whom ever looked likely to even place.

Moore in his column said “Drawn wide in 13 we have to see how the race unfolds but he is a horse with a lot of ability” but has just admitted that he said to Aidan that this was the best horse in the race and would win.

A small profit thanks to the late addition of Magnum Force. The other six were varying degrees of hopeless, but one winner is better than none. The first three races were pickable, but the fourth was a write off with the front three just bombing from the start. Henri Matisse hadn't looked straightforward, but looked far more amenable last night. The stars were the fillies, Immersive and Lake Victoria. Both look hard to beat next season. O'Brien looks to have one of his strongest bunch of 2yo's, and with Godolphin also having a couple of useful one's, it sets up well for next season.

With 9 races left will likely need at least a couple of winners tonight to hold, or better, that profit.

Decent start last night but faded out of it. Lets get into tonight's action. I've already had 2 points on Porta Fortuna ante post at around 7/2 (My nap of the meeting)

In the 6.15 I like Raqiya. Backed her at the Glorious Goodwood meeting and quite rightly she got awarded the race in the Stewards room. This race doesn't  look as strong as that one IMO and this sharp mile and quick going will be ideal for her. Frankie gets the ride.  1 point Win

Good luck tonight lads.

I love Bradsell (he doesn't get the credit he deserves) and he hated the going in France LTO and only his class got him that second place. His draw is horrific tonight though and it will take one of the rides of the seasons to negate it. Cogburn will break fast along with the well named AG Bullet . Can Hollie get Bradsell across and in behind those pace setters or will she be stuck out wide?

Any views on the turf sprint?

Tough race to get involved in Whippin but at least Bradsell looks priced accordingly , imagine its price with a good draw so pay your money take your chance , couldn't bring myself to lay it though despite draw.

Pace hardly collapsed as 2nd and 3rd where the first 2 through the race until the line,

At 33/1 pre race would have thought it would have hit close to 1000 after the first few furlongs, it was so far behind anything else
