constant pausing...
been like this for a while now...
some days better than others...
some meetings better than others...
Goodwood today is awful...
obviously Betfair are absolutely no use whatsoever...
surely it can't just be me ?

it's the pc you and Mr.Hunt recommended i get a while back jamee...
everything is fine on every other website... even ATR LV is not pausing ffs... like i say some days it's fine and some races at the same meetings it's fine... every race so far at Goodwood today has been awful tho... in fact Goodwood all week has been pretty poor... and Galway was shocking for the big race on Wednesday... yet Epsom / Leicester (and most other RTV tracks) have been fine... i can't personally see how it's anything my end tbh jamee. |

The BF video streams are ultra low latency so very fragile and much more prone to issues than other "live" streams which will spool several seconds to improve smoothness.
Check your internet connection on my link above and make sure the connection is smooth and doesn't cut in and out. Try different versions of different browsers as some with work better than others. I use Firefox v127.0 which works perfectly with both ATR and RUK streams on my PC. |

Ping is a bit slow but 23.66mbps is reasonable. Is it stable or does it fluctuate much during the test?

i was actually on firefox v127.0 version and it was pausing just as microsoft edge is... only other thing is i changed hubs a few weeks ago but it's been fine since i changed it in all honesty... only recently this pausing has kicked in. |

goodwood been shocking all day...
galway first race no pauses at all... this is how it's been... which suggests to me individual tracks (or even individual races) are different in some way... coz nowt is changing here between goodwood and galway today. |

Just dragged out my old laptop Core i5 4200u, 8gb memory, no dedicated graphics, running Edge v122.0.2365.92 browser and streaming Goodwood with no issues.
I can only think it's your internet connection not strong enough to handle the more fragile streams. Is anyone else out there running below 25mbps connection? If so how have your Goodwood streams been today? |

i switched back to my old hub/router and it is definitely way better than it was yesterday jamee...
still getting the odd twinge but nowhere near as bad... will keep trying a few things to see if i can resolve it coz it sounds like i'm the only one affected. |

Run the speed test again and see if the connection speed has improved.

ping 24ms...download 29.1 mbps...upload 4.24 mbps... better than it was yesterday but not mind blowing... will mess around with a few things to see what helps and what doesn't... cheers. |

If your computer has wifi you could also try connecting wirelessly to the hub instead of wired, just in case the wired connection has issues (unlikely).

didn't notice any difference tbh... where do you stand on RJ11 cables ? i read that the shorter the better... yesterday i had a 10m cable connected... today i've had a 1m cable connected. |

are you re-entering the in-running game Hibs? If not just set all video to maximum latency should help with buffering.

did u mean RJ45? RJ11 are what connects from BT street cabinets to houses and can be hundreds of meters long. |

RJ11 cables are the ones that come from the 'telephone' wee white box on the inside of your outside wall which has the (ADSL connection point on it) to your hub/router Mr.Hunt...
RJ45 cables are the ones that come from the same wee white box to your landline telephone. |
