He was going out in boat, so left phone at home, phones, water and beaches not a good mix
I read he did have water, a few bits have been lost in translation. Looks like a heart attack, but still got the timeline establish, whether he died going up or that was him coming down. Was a decent sort, genuine guy. Don't think he done much wrong, just went for a wander, as you do. |

So, so, so, so sad! A walk to the hill has ended his life. He took a wrong turn (apparently) which took his life. RIP Mr Mosley!

So sad a lovely man RIP.
Life is unpredictable nobody knows the hour or the day, only thing we know is it is coming. |

All over the news.
I think he's the first person to get this much coverage who I've never heard of. |
|
By:
we live in a very strange society nowadays with wall to wall coverage of some media nobody and even on this forum 50+ postings about somebody totally unrelated to horse racing who none of us have ever known or met
|
|
By:
Very sad, a bit of a sad irony that a guy who we see on our screens that we would associate with responsibleness may have gone out a bit unprepared in case of an emergency RIP

He was a medic for many years prior to becoming a tv medic; he did not try and sell us stuff or promote himself for financial gain on tv either. He always had a smiley face on tv; he was someone one could relate too.

He was a medic for many years prior to becoming a tv medic
No he wasn't. '' intending to become a psychiatrist, He became disillusioned with psychiatry after a placement in the specialty during his degree course and decided not to practise medicine after passing his final examinations.'' After graduating in medicine, Mosley elected not to begin working as a pre-registration house officer and pursue a career as a doctor, but instead joined a trainee assistant producer scheme at the BBC in 1985 Wiki. A bit of a fraud really. |
|
By:
Even GPs aren’t taught nutrition.
Anything he knew about it is freely available to anyone. |
|
By:
Hang on Dr C.
He graduated with a degree in medicine. Who gives a flying f*ck what Wikipedia says ? Did he ever say he'd practised medicine for 'many years' ? |
|

He graduated with a degree in medicine.
''Who gives a flying f*ck what Wikipedia says ?'' That's what Wiki said. Don't you believe he had a degree? |

He studied medicine and gained his degree.
Fact. Wikipedia says he 'practised medicine for many years'. He didn't, but then I don't recall him ever saying, or writing, that he ever did. How does that make him a 'fraud' ? And since when was Wikipedia the fount of all knowledge, ffs ? |
|
By:
It seems he studied psychiatry, not general medicine.
Everybody I spoke to thought he was a former GP, he never was a GP. He wasn't qualified for general practise. Yet he advised on stuff to do with general practice as a doctor. |
|
By:
That doesn't mean he was wrong about anything.
If he'd done his research he know what he was talking about anyway. His wife is also a doctor. |
|
By:
Yes she's a GP.
''According to The Soho Agency, Dr Clare Bailey Mosley is a GP with a particular interest in promoting diet and lifestyle changes for weight loss.'' |
