Just the 2 meetings this afternoon, so the races can go off at 30 minute intervals leaving 15mins between races from each meeting, yet the race times from Leicester are scheduled very oddly at "3" minutes .
Why oh why the 3mins and not on the 15, 30, 45, 00 ? And instead of having a 4.15 they have it at 4.20 so therefore the other meeting goes off at 4.38 .. Totally nonsensical to me.
What is wrong with having race times 2pm, 2.15, 2.30, 2.45 etc ?
I guess its because Southwell is a jumps meet and its going to take longer for a race to complete. Then add in the chance of a race starting later than planned thentheres less chance of a clash. It makes perfect sense to be fair - very odd from the BHA.

Thanks Wicklow. I think it just makes something easy become complicated.. They managed for the last few hundred years alternating between jumps and flat using 00, 15, 30, 45. As they are incapable of starting races on time, it seems like a particularly pointless exercise.
