Can you believe it? they march off in the 21st over.

They should have kept their quicks on , it was always going to be nip and tuck with the 20 overs , yes spin gave them a chance of wickets , but may as well draw the series .

There was a crazy CMM market on the CPL when floodlight failure occurred in 19th over this morning. Just got them back on for a 5 over chase.
I honestly think there was corrupt motives for that outage. |

Not often Saffer's don't produce a good graph
![]() Agree with last night Card , the previous match involving Trinbago looked an extremely strange market as well , they probably feel robbed as they were set for 180 with Dre Rus on strike , think 180 would have taken some getting in an eliminator despite the crazy hitting in a 5 over game as the different challenges are chalk vs cheese. |

One of the biggest trading benefits of just playing a numbers criteria when a personal opinion just gets in the way , you'll struggle to predict these outcomes so best leaving the numbers to make the decision for you otherwise you'll always put yourself off backing big prices.

Has to be Heather Knight's last game for England, in T20 at least.
Accountability |

By:
she was injured for the second part of the game when it fell apart..
not sure she can take the 5 dropped catches from the dressing room..which even one or two taken probably win the game.. sack the fielding coach first.. |

Heather Knight has now captained Eng in 5 World T20s and has failed to reach final each time, furthermore in T20 format she doesn't generally score quick enough runs and she's now aged 33

I watch quite a bit of women's cricket and this tournament has been a dire advert for the game. Hardly any competitive games, low scores, and lots of atrocious fielding. Too many sides just relying on the odd decent player, and effectively just making up the numbers. Bookmakers will be delighted that of the 'big three' only Australia have made the semi-finals. England looked as if they had landed in the easier Group, but still couldn't manage it. West Indies stepped up today, and something similar will see them beating a shaky New Zealand side that could easily collapse under pressure. Off the back of this win West Indies should be favourites for that match.

You can certainly make a case for a fresh start after another disappointing tourny (Jon Lewis as coach could equally be in the discussion) and the fact she's now 33 but on other grounds it's not really backed up by the stats... her record and SR is around the same mark as the other players in the top 6 and she's just come off a hundred tournament averaging 45+ @ a 137 SR..one of the best records in the tournament which obviously features both all the best English players and quite a few decent overseas players as well. |

The obvious problem going down the replacement route is who do they replace her with? They have used other captains and they haven't looked up to the task.

It would be a real turn up if neither Australia, India or England lasses reached the final.
Who could have foreseen that? |
|
By:
Superb win for South Africa.
All went wrong for Australia with Mooney and McGrath doing little more than playing themselves in, and not kicking on. Bookmakers must be killing themselves. Given they have won 6 out of the last 7 and reached the final in the other, you wonder what percentage of bets were on Australia. As above if anyone opposed them it was likely to be with the other failures, England and India. |

West Indies didn't get close to reproducing the India win.
Bowling not tight enough, and despite a late flurry of wickets, they let New Zealand get too many. That said they still should have had the ability to chase it down. Take Dottin out, and they would have been hammered. Amazing that a side as bad as New Zealand has ended up in the final. Bates has contributed next to nothing. Talked about the general rubbish fielding, but that Henry miss takes the biscuit. She had already made a complete horlicks of a more difficult catch, but this was straightforward by any standards. To let the ball go straight through your hands is beyond belief. West Indies had actually been one of the better fielding sides. |
