If the BBC had racing, there'd be a disabled transgender lesbian Muslim person of colour as an expert in the studio giving an opinion. Possibly a friend of Gammy Lickacur.

Julian Wilson was racing manager for Waler Mariti who's Pontevecchio Notte won the City and Suburban handicap in 1987 at Epsom.

Funny how such an obscure fact has stayed in my head for ALL THIS TIME. Trained by Gavin Pritchard-Gordon, ridden by UNKNOWN

Literally nothing to worry about, Hayden. I only answered the door that one time as I was expecting a delivery, and told him I only watch you tube and netflix. They are not allowed in the property unless invited. Other than that it's just those auto generated anonymised letters that claim they will be visiting the address, but it's just fantasy and they go in recycling unopened.

In summer 1988 Tyne Tees Television (using some of channel 4 team) covered the non bank holiday Monday Beeswing Stakes meeting where Salse beat Always Fair, Big Mac interviewed Jackie Milburn on that broadcast.

Most memorable piece i remember about Julian Wilson was when he interviewed the Ascot steward following the Royal Gait disqualification , i've got it on tape somewhere , classic stuff.

He was an extremely shrewd punter as well , i can immediately recall the top three customers based on strike rate for odds against bets , all three were unrestricted well known names and he was one of them.

I think the city and Suburban was run at the spring meeting alongside the derby trial and Great Met.

Having found the Wiki page I see no sign of Pontevecchio Notte, is my memory playing tricks?
