What a tragic end in the circumstances, racing like life totally unfair
The sad thing is it will be short odds that he wont be the last fatality of The Meeting.
Distressing news on Highland Hunter.....
Sadly, the Fergal O'Brien-trained horse sadly lost his life after sustaining a fatal injury during the Handicap Chase.
Sincere condolences to his connections.
Tragically, his death comes a week after he lead the procession at former jockey Keagan Kirkby's funeral.
So very sad

That is SAD! It takes away the gloss of the winner and trainer. RIP Hunter!
