Distressing news on Highland Hunter.....
Sadly, the Fergal O'Brien-trained horse sadly lost his life after sustaining a fatal injury during the Handicap Chase. Sincere condolences to his connections. Tragically, his death comes a week after he lead the procession at former jockey Keagan Kirkby's funeral. So very sad |

3rd run in 24 days in testing ground age 11 might have been too much but i bow to the trainer and those who really loved him that they knew the horse better than anyone commiserations to all involved
