some of you may remember me posting a while ago about me buying several horse racing prints by an artist charles johnson payne  who lived untill 1967  went under the  sudo name of  "snaffles " anyway i bought a batch of them for peanuts  several framed and several  unframed  they are olde world type 1920s type national hunt racing  racing scenes ,type in snaffles art in google and you will see his work anyway thet have been stuck in a cupboard and doing fook all and to be honest will probably stay there till i can be arshed to take em up to an auction house or whatever as said i got them for buttons at a car boot so they owe me nothing and the missus wont have em up on the wall .  they have the embossed blind stamp and signature on all of them.
but someone on here might like one and get it framed or whatever they want to do with it and with the festival coming up i though t we could have a little comp and  i will donate one of the unframed prints as a prize for the winner ......dont know if there will be any interest but we will see . fire away ...
its a simple free to enter comp and i will send the print to the winner at my expense .   the winner will be the person (if any want to participate ) who tips the biggest priced winner at the festival so potentially depending how it goes you could  win with a selection under 10/1 depending on results  fire away you got up to the last race of the festival to enter your selection . by the way these prints are not  cheap photo copy repros and are on quality thick carded paper  with an embossed
