They charging just to look at the odds grids, or charging for their tips etc?

Dunno about alternatives, easyodds used to be ok, though looks to have changed.

R.post has price tables, but only for about 8 of the biggest firms.

Everyone here wins thousands, can't afford a service the price of one hamburger a month?

it's an advertisement gaze.

you don't pay to see a fkng advertisement.

the people advertising pay to get their prices shown.

if they're lucky you'll see them, open an account, have 3 bets, and get your backside banned.

You mean we're gonna have to pay to see Andy Holding's tips? Angry

What are the chances of the ATR website following suit?

if Andy Holding's tips were worth paying for Andy Holding would be sitting on Andy Holding's own Caribbean Island, flying round the world in Andy Holding's private jet and Andy Holding would have a collection of vintage Andy Holding Ferrari's in Andy Holding's garage.

W.Hill naps comp - means nothing. Or do you think Craig Forsyth is useless too?
By:
hulk23
When: 28 Feb 24 21:02
not saying he's useless, but if you had a ton on all his naps you'd be the thick end of 4 and a half grand down.
By:

When: 28 Feb 24 21:06
at what point do you say "ok, forget the fkng island, i just want my four grand back and i promise i'll never back another one of Craig's again" ...

I think it's reasonable to be sceptical about most tipsters, you've just chosen the wrong 2 to make your assumptions about. No worries I just beg to differ Cool

would place him 49th in RP Naps league.

but i take your point about these leagues as it's only a matter of time until those down the bottom, probably including Craig, start napping 150/1 shots in the vain hope they'll strike gold.
By:
hulk23
When: 28 Feb 24 21:30
anyone who follows them -  oh, they've been up all night studying the form and they've found a 150/1 shot as their best bet of the day.  i'll have a couple of quid on that.

reality - i'm fkng miles behind so i'll just nap that complete no-hoper and head off down the boozer.

It takes a lot of time and creativity to set something like that up and update it every minute everyday. The only way they make money just now is if viewers click on the Bookie banners currently on their site offering free bets and open an account via their link.

...... Personally, I don`t use it. BF odds on any horse to win are much higher without checking.

It's always been useful for golf, compare
e/w terms etc.

But £10 a month... Will I need proof of earnings...

I dont really use price comparison anymore. Back in the day when gambling was fair ecosystem not run by FTSE companies you could shop around and get on. The funny thing in one of my subject access requests recently to bookies one of them had flagged i used oddschecker. You just cant make it up. Bookies advertise on a site then when you come they dont want you!

Just had a look and Andy Holding's tips are still free to view, and why wouldn't they be with all the bookie adverts on the page?

That Caribbean Island dream is still alive!

I have this site bookmarked and it gives live shows, SPs, and finishing order, exactly like in a betting shop.
Perfect for updating “Happy’s Monkey” after the off.

Came within a heartbeat of buying a share in Oddschecker 16yrs ago for a bargain £80k from an extremely trustworthy betting partner ( co-founder ), refused the deal and turned out to be not one of my better decisions.

£80k 16 years ago was a lot of money for most people and lots of similar investments will have gone south . I tend to remember more  shares that I've sold that have gone up than the ones that are worth a lot less now. You do what you think is right at the time.

Money was no problem Manoleeds but regretted the no deal about 18 months later due to some developments.

Anyone using service websites every day with their adblockers switched on might want to think about whether they might look for ways to make their enterprise worthwhile. And I include myself in that.
