Off out early, pies and cakes on the menu for my Mum. Chicken and then double cream with nuts for me. 17st 8lbs in August 2022 and now under 14st on low carb. A Low carb lifestyle has it's knockers like Dolly Parton but works for me and I have never felt better.

Going to stop the Doubles etc sr, one has let me down about five times. A few tweaks in The New Year with a bit more on the singles. If and when a Double or Treble comes in I will just be happy with the winning singles.

Running well lately and looks ready to strike again after Finishing 1 1/4l behind Back Tomorrow when fourth of 11 at 7-1 on his latest outing at Southwell over 6f 11 days ago and this 7f looks perfect to return to The Wolverhampton Winners Enclosure. Has successful stamina over 1m 1/2f but best record is over this 7f on both Soft and The AW and now back to his last winning mark and last won on The AW off 11lbs higher. |

Since the blinkers where applied in October to the handsome head of the 4yr old THE CALTONIAN he has been successful twice at 7f and only beaten 3/4 lengths twice and then by a short head behind Ultramarine 9 days ago.
He came good in the autumn after being fitted with those magic blinkers comfortably winning those 7f handicaps at Newcastle and then Wolverhampton and only narrowly failed to defy a 10lb rise on his third start in nine days over the same trip back at Wolverhampton. He drops to the 6f trip here tonight but should be well suited from his last time winning draw with his strong travelling style and Newcastle’s stiff finish being well up his street |

The 3yr old bay TYKE came good the race after a short break in September and the same could happen tonight. Successful twice over this 6f and was only beaten a neck by the well regarded stablemate Billyjoh when second of 12 at 9-1 just over a week ago again over this course and distance.
The Michael Appleby trained gelding has CD form of 1st, 1st and 2nd with last week's 2nd a career best, he is also 2lbs well-in to boot. |

The 3yr old BUCCABAY was only beaten a neck off this mark in a better race than this in October by a 50/1 shot who went on to success in a Class 3 and then wasn't far away in a Class 2.
Successful twice at 6f including an Ascot Class 3 maiden and then winning his handicap by nearly 3L, has a nice draw for his style of running with Charles Bishop's only ride of the day. Rod Millman's 3yr old MISS MOONSHINE had a fantastic spell at the start of this year winning twice and two close seconds off marks ranging from today's 52 up to 60 all for today's jockey with three occasions over this CD Now back down to that first winning rating after a good come back after 158 days off when not fancied at 20/1 with stall 10 today not looking an inconvenience for his way of running. |
