Having another bet with my old bokie mate who I met first day at work, his Dad was the main bookie in Fords Halewood when 12,000 men worked there and he later followed suit.
We are going with our families to Royal Ascot and I have to achieve 50pts level stakes profit to £20 a bet by then, he is giving me BOG and I have a £2000 bank. Thanks sr, my Dad wants to go on the commode every 15mins all day now, been checked out by doctor yesterday and he said there is nothing wrong physically and it has become a habit and in his head. We are all up for support and social worker coming on Monday.
He has just stopped picking out doing a bet incredibly about a week ago as well after nearly 80yrs of betting. |

I have a funny feeling The Unlucky Rovers who are the owners of Ben Dikduk might be celebrating with a few pints of Banks's and Mansfield beers today. The apple of their eye is still to darken the winners enclosure but the son of New Approach ran his best race 22 days ago when 4/1f on his first run for Kevin Philippart De Foy.
Only beaten a fast finishing 1/2L to Bankrupt on that day after finding his passage blocked with Bankrupt then completing a four timer next time out. This is the only runner for the stable today with Benoit De La Sayette also having his only ride. Get The Beers in Lads Revolucion is another maiden but was only beaten a head in October off today's mark and again ran well next time when losing a shoe both times when favourite. Ran like a scalded cat three days ago when going off too hard for Muscutt and now Rossa Ryan's steady hands takes the reigns and hopefully makes it Lucky Thirteen for Team Lodge Racing who can join the party in Wolverhampton's wonderful Horizons Restaurant.. |

It takes two to Tango in The 7-00 with the 4yr old Fantasy Navigator who won on this surface at Kempton off 12lbs higher in June 2022 and the in-form 8yr old Q Twenty Boy who was successful over CD in September and was only beaten a length by an other in-form horse in Darlo Pride over 5f 28 days ago for today's jockey Alicia Perkins.
Fantasy seems well fancied today for Rossa Ryan and has moved from 8/1 last night to as low as 13/8 earlier but is now around the 2/1 mark. The girl on QTB hasn't had many rides but won well on him beating the likes of Young Billy and Queally to name just two and if there going to win etc, they will. Well sometimes they do.. Ring Of Gold has won three times over 7f and is a Dual 7f Surface winner at Kempton and is back down under his last successful winning mark, has been running on turf since April and last ran on the AW in a Class 4 and returns to this Class 6 where he has won twice before. |

All not really fancied by my usual early prices and even bigger now, it is something I'm still working on. Doublethetrouble also in the 8-00 who I haven't backed could of been my only bet today if I'd stuck to a certain way of betting I have been dabbling in.
The 4yr old Em Jay Kay ran really well in this Class 5 for today's jockey Grace McEntee who has a record of 72 wins from 828 runs and has previously been successful at 5f and 6f on this surface here at Southwell in February this year and at Wolverhampton last December for tonight's jockey. Kiss My Face has an excellent record at Southwell winning twice and loads of good runs including 18 days ago over CD for Ben Robinson who has had 148 successes from 1832 runs while Rubeus was only beaten a neck on stable debut at 80/1 and runs off the same mark for Elisha Whittington who has had 36 wins from 378 runs. |
