Not really win only, I went with the stat and expected the unraced to be the one in my favour but sometimes the rag is the one, stable obviously didn't have a bean on or be half the price.

hardest day ive ever played today.. 2 associates sed same..sign of the future.
AS I told my apprentice you have to move with the times or give up. One went 1.01 at kempton tonight never in front but they trying to predict the future within in the next 5 secs, that's where we are today. |

ir is ok before last 3f..then its completely controlled by the gps/bot which is ahead of our eyes.

The stat was her course form 1 out of 42 and I didn't even bother looking up what price the winner was, horses for courses and all that, was worth a lay just on that.

With respect too- sometimes you miss an angle, smaller the field more angles to look at imho. Well done with the trade, saved alot of dough.

stats like that imo arnt accurate enough for a trainer that doesnt really have short price runners..

alan berry prob has a carlisle stat of 1-234 but if he has a 1/5 fav its irrelevant..imo

Not a course they target though surely no matter what the price. Maybe a kind forumite can post all 42 prices of her runners, don't think it still would tell me much imho.

what happened to Alan in the end? It was incredible how Jack's 2yos knew their jobs and Alan's absolutely didn't, as if almost nothing rubbed off on him.

Average is 25s need to see the list imo. Be some single figures what probably didn't place, again horses for courses. Would you have 50 grand on a 1/5 if trainer is 0/100 at course?

imo i think every race has to be taken at face value..
if alan berry was 1/234 and had a solid rated 85 horse running against a 50 horse would i bet it at 1/5? YES. |

We could go rounds in circles all night, reality is I layed on a stat and you layed a rating on one run, did ground really come into play on one run? Be interesting what the JCH horse does in next 2 years, time will tell. Good luck in your punting. it's why betfair still works, opinions

with a real dollop of hindsight the winning filly's first 2 runs were not actually devoid of promise, green on debut but stayed on, didn't stay next time over 9f, and she's nicely bred, I reckon she'll turn out to be OK!

Experience tells me, running them backend in desperate ground 9/10 they had a setback in the season.

and she's out of a good old Selkirk mare so would've loved the ground, hard one for the handicapper, think they'd take 70!
