If he gave others the same benefit of the doubt, would be fair enough.
Just own up to a mistake would be more honest. |

Laying 100 in a 3 runner race when fraught with obvious danger was a schoolbaby error. One trap even Gaze would have avoided. Better luck today Rico.

the dealer 17 Oct 23 21:15
I've met Rico a few times at Newcastle, Hexham and Carlisle, when he was using the fast pictures at the race courses. I've been in the race room on course and I saw what he had won life time on here. He had an edge and he made full use of it. I can't say what happened since but it's highly doubtful he has done his dough in since. |

Final comment from me...
Some forumites choose to disbelieve Rico's gambling success because it suits their agenda and they've gone too far now to backtrack and admit they're wrong , that's their prerogative of course. As a former rodent though the thought of disbelieving Tom ( The Dealer ) to me is unfathomable , like or dislike Rico is a personal choice but what the Dealer posts on here i KNOW to be fact. Best of luck all ![]() |

Hayden - these posts aren't to do with whether we 'like' rico - I don't know him personally, so have no view either way.
But the critical posts on this thread are about what he's posted here, in line with the 'lay of the day' approach he claimed to be using. Clearly that was disingenuous, if it was going to be backtracked to lay, and then trade them out by backing, on a selection he states cannot win. Why back a selection that cannot win at all even if it's price did get bigger? I'd agree if it was a balanced set of posts about backing and hedging - but that's not how these have been presented at all. I think everyone knows all this, including rico. So enough said on it from me now. But I wouldn't be believing any future posts where he claims he is only laying (or backing), as he obviously changes his approach from that he states in the posts. GL all, including rico. ![]() |
