Paul aka Skinto/TNM HR KO COMP 2023 - Semi Finals

64 players drawn in 32 matches, winner progresses to next round.
The Draw is tennis style, ie. your path to the final will be fixed.

Each round will take place on a Saturday.
I will choose 5 of the highest profile races for each Saturday, and selections must be made from those 5, one per player from each.
I will try to spread the races across Turf, Jumps, AW, but it just depends what's available.
Races will be confirmed shortly after Thursday's final declarations and entries open at that point.

Within each match, duplicates not allowed, first come first served.

If you do inadvertently duplicate, then of-course you can change up to cut-off time, otherwise no runner no points.
The cut-off time for posting all selections will be the time of the first chosen race, I will make the specific time clear on the Thursday.

Points will be awarded as follows:
Winner of a race gets 5pts, runner-up gets 3pts, 3rd 2pts and 4th 1pt.
A bonus point will be awarded to any top four finish if the SP is 3/1 or over, 2pts if 5/1 or over.

Points scored will be totted up for all five races and highest scoring winner goes through to next round.
In the event of a tie, the player with the best priced winner goes through, or if no winners, then runner-up and so on.
If both players fail to score then whoever has best priced 5th or 6th etc. will go through.

Once you have posted a selection you may not change it unless it is a non-runner.
Non-runners - you may replace up to the cut-off time. You may not leave reserves as it may impact on what your opponent can choose.
If you end up with a non-runner then no points for that race.

1.50 Ascot
2.40 Newmarket
3.00 Ascot
3.55 Redcar
4.10 Ascot

Cut-off time for entries - 1.49pm Saturday

Unlucky Andrew, went all the way down right to the last race, a high scoring affair that could have gone either way.

VWD and congratulations, a decent high scoring round between us. A different head bob result in either of a couple of the races would have won it for me, but it's racing and no complaints whatsoever, simply beaten by a better rival on the day, just like my rubbish football team away to Leeds .
