If that is/was the case honcho then they have no business sense!!

So you think they should keep scraping around for rides instead of a year with AMO's group horses and then and sacked? Not many if any on that list will get the rides they could with AMO.

How do you know what the financial incentive is honcho or how long an appointment would last? None of the riders could be described as desperate unless you also know their financial status as well?

You are right. Noone on here knows whats going on in racing. Its all kept very quiet.
Yet some on here seem to think they know better than trainers.
Stott has ridden 227 winners from 1408 rides for Kevin Ryan. But the know-alls on here know more than Kevin Ryan.
Amazing they have not got big jobs in racing.

Sorry 'CagliariG', typo error. I was thinking of The Dewhurst and Fillies Mile. It's old age.

The fact that Bishop isn't 1000/1 shows how bad the standard is.

All of them on that list would benefit from a season with AMO (especially next year). Murphy for me but Danny Tudhope would do a great job for them. Great judge of pace and won't make the mistake Stott did.

They might all do a great job but for how long?

Risk and reward same as punting value honcho, will it add up for short term gain IYO?

Be interesting to know if Amo consult the trainers about a retained rider.

What a terrible list. You may as well throw a dart, and see where it lands.

No its not. They are sportsmen and want to win. Who's not going to want to ride KOS, Persian Dreamer, Ornellaia etc next year? Do you think they are sat there thinking they may get sacked so they won't try? Losers do that not young jockeys looking to be champions one day.

Odds on they have all cost you at some point DD? In your opinion there is not a living jockey worthy for your own failure?

Lol, you wouldn't know what their ages are. Value punting???? Yeah I'm sure these talented guys will compare themselves to your home schooled calculations on what value might be.

mrcombustible, who knows, but an interesting post here from May, would you expect SDS (it if was him) to be at Salisbury after the confirmation of his ban?

screaming from beneaththewaves 12 May 23 13:38
De Sousa (or a swarthy little chap very like him) was standing next to me by the paddock at Salisbury last Thursday, exchanging pleasantries with one of the equally swarthy chaps leading around the Amo Racing horse. He seemed surprisingly chipper in retrospect.

SDS is banned til March so why need to sack Stott now if that's the plan?
