undecided, I have read your comments  posted yesterday. Whilst I respect entirely the amount of work you do in the forum, and that as instigator of any competition you have the right to set the rules, I am a bit confused as to your statements re the bonus points and non runners. I would assume that these statements relate to any future similar competitions, although from reading the comments it perhaps suggests that you are proposing these changes for the current competition. Surely regardless of the fact that I think that non-runners scoring nil points is not a fair outcome,and I also agree that the bonus points should reflect a higher SP level, I think that the rules as stated at the outset must continue for the remainder of this edition of the competition. Surely the rules at the start of any competition should not be changed during the competition if it is to have credibility.
Thanks again for all the work you do in running the various competitions on the forum, without them the forum would be even more dead than it is at the moment.

As I am sure you are aware there was only one match that was affected by the non-runners and whilst I can totally accept the result, I would find it unacceptable if the rule was changed for future rounds, in spite of the fact that the change would in my opinion make it  fairer.  In normal circumstances I would probably have become aware of the non-runner in time to post an alternative selection but I was focusing on the Rugby on Saturday. At the end of the day the call is yours.
