In the olden days when Betfair were actually trying to grow the business, they held education forums and I went to one , Brighton racecourse, out of interest. One of the strategies they were indicating was putting 1.7 price in the inrunning market for every horse. They tried this out on a Novice Hurdle and I though they got no chance (competitive sprint I could imagine good chance to get at least 2) but they copped it (can't remember if it was 2 or 3). I'm sure I lot of people went away those forums and tried the theory out . I didn't so can't say whether it was successful in those simpler days without bots and drones.
