Market Rasen 2-50 Mullinaree 7.8 Not to win
Kate Kenyon's 7yr old hurdler is on a roll and goes for a four-timer after a trio of Fontwell 2m3f small field successes on Heavy and Good ground. Different story hopefully today up to Class 2 level over an extended 2m4f in a bigger field.. |

By:
Market Rasen 4-20 Rocambolas 5.4 Not to win
Rocambolas who is owned and trained by Ben Pauling made a winning start for his new yard in a 2m handicap hurdle in April of a mark of 74. Folded like a pack of cards at Southwell next time and after going four lengths clear at the last two weeks ago threw away a certain victory when flashing his tail and then getting beaten over 2L. To add insult to injury is now raised 2lbs and with both wins on Heavy and Soft this better ground shouldn't help the cause with being 9lbs above that hurdle win.. Clonmel 8-30 Rule Of June 8.8 At the moment The 9yr old Rule of June is 1-20 and but 1-5 chasing, the Liam Casey mare won off 83 last August but couldn't follow up when favourite twice off 90 and 91. Still Looks too high off 88 going by results since and hopefully June might have to wait a little longer until August or September time |

Need to get this AI on the case mh..
Liverpool have made as much money in the past 5-6yrs as anybody in the world but balance the books and apart from Arsenal this year are the only team to rival City. Winning the league and getting beat twice by a point and also winning the European cup and FA cup has been a great spell but we didn't perk up the mid-field and kept players who are past their best and don't score goals. I said it on the football forum and still maintain it, just one goal scoring midfielder would of secured at least another league and even 4th place this season. |

Off out to New Brighton, will back Kildorrery later.
Beverley 4-25 Broctune Red 6.6 Not to win Only one win on turf from 22 runs and that was in Sept 21 off 58, now still up to 65 and 8yrs old, didn't win last turf season off similar marks.. Punchestown 2-30 Kildorrery 10yr old bay and hold-up performer who has won four from 45, off since January and usually needs a run or two to get to his best. |
|
By:
Kildorrery made no impression and was beaten nearly 16L while Broctune Red weakened in the final furlong and was beaten 8L..

Navan 3-10 Collective Power 8.2 Much better on the Dundalk AW and one win from 9 on the turf.. Navan 3-40 Giladah 10.0 Three wins in handicap company last summer but form dropped off lately and doesn't come out well on OR. Punchestown 4-00 Big Island 12.0 8lbs above only hurdle win last Sept with Mrs Phillips taking the ride looking for her first win. Navan 4-40 Malbay Madness 15.0 16lbs above 2yr old win and stable no known for 3yr old winners. |

Southwell 2-45 Shar Whats Therush 9.8 Unless there is a Barney Curley coup going on it doesn't look like the Dr Richard Newland owned and trained 10yr old Shar Whats Therush will gain his second win today. Since his success five years ago he has steadily climbed the handicap and is still 13lbs above that November 2017 win and has been off for 431 days. |

They’re all dangerous as less than 10.00. But that’s as good a reason to take it on, if u think it should be 25.00 rather then 9.8

7-48 Roscommon
The 8yr old Digby usually needs a run and has been off for 10 months since a fall last July, will need to get his eye back in on Softer ground in the coming months. 12.0 8-40 Windsor Mr Zee has had two soft ground successes in April and May off 54 and 56 making all for this jockey, back into Class 5 company now off 60 and winning run should be halted.. 8.4 |
|
By:
Digby was beaten 14L while Mr Zee trailed in second last beaten 16L.

Brighton 4-50 De Vegas Kid 7.6
9yr old who has won 10 times from 73 runs, usually needs a run and has been off for 134 days. Hasn't ran in a sprint for four years and will need a mile to get back in the winners enclosure. |

Yarmouth 2-30 Owen Little 7.6
5yr old who has won twice from 12 starts, not usually ready to Rock n Roll when fresh and has been off for 310 days. The last winning jockey David Probert has gone to Newbury and 5lbs above only handicap win with the loss of decent apprentice who has also gone to lovely Berkshire.. |
|
By:
Owen Little made no impression from two furlongs out and was beaten nearly 11 lengths.. 11/2

Cork 7-10 Old Port 12.5 Half Stake
In racing you have to have the confidence in your own ability to mostly back winners or lay horses who you think won't win who are Bigger or lower in the betting that you think they should be. Horses make fools of us but as BULLET TOOTH TONY said if you think one should be Bigger you have to trust your own opinion. I am going to do a few to Half Stake Lays now and again, not just because they are 10/1 or Bigger but because I think they won't win. The 5yr old Old Port is a Winner of six races from 1m 1f to 1m 4f on Good to Firm ground once and on the AW five times. Again one of those who has never won fresh and it is 220 days since he last ran in November. Runs tonight in this Cork Derby Premier Handicap but has never won above Class 3 level in the UK and makes debut for new stable 6lbs above his turf mark. |
|
By:
Old Port was always towards rear and no extra beaten 9 lengths..
Chester 2-10 Vespasian 6.2 1pt lay The 4yr old bay has been successful at 6f and 7f on the AW with the latest win in February 2022 off 5lbs lower . Seemed to be weakening on this type of ground at Windsor in May and might have to wait for some rain and Softer conditions to be successful again. Off out to COSCO, more later.. ![]() |
|
By:
Vespasian had no extra and finished 4th
Hexham 5-30 Bushmill Boy 8.8 1pt lay 9yr old who is yet to win from 14 races, 4lbs wrong today and looks better over further after decent run when 3rd at the start of June over 2m4f. Never dangerous over this 2m in April off this sort of mark.. |
|
By:
Bushmill Boy weakened and lost two places near finish and finished 4th beaten 4 lengths

I done a long piece on Chagall in the 4-00 Lingfield being 10lbs above last win, not getting home over CD in May and better over a mile on Softer conditions and I somehow clicked it off..
6.6 Not to win Off out to buy and order a fabric suite, wife's gone off leather. More later.. |
|
By:
Wolverhampton 4-10 Distinction 11.5 Half Stake
Drawn 10 from 10 and only one win from 38 which was over 7f on Soft ground, beaten 12 lengths over CD in October from another wide draw. |
|
By:
Chagall finished 3rd after losing ground but then running on well about a length away while Distinction came in 4th beaten best part of two lengths..
|
|
By:
Windsor 7-05 Justcallmepete 9.6
Winner of five races on the AW but figures suggest not as good on turf, 13lbs above last outing at Newmarket in October 2022.. |

By:
Justcallmepete finished 3rd
Losing bets 7/2 9/2 7/1 3 losing bets 23 Winning Bets |
|
By:
Wexford 4-37 Battle Of Mirbat 10.5 1pt lay
The 6yr old Battle Of Mirbat who is owned and trained by Michael J McDonagh got a big hike of 12lbs for winning at Leopardstown in March over an extended 2m5f, didn't seem to stay at a near 3m2f 26 days ago when beaten 23 lengths and runs over that same distance today still a stone above only win. |

Good thread and Good Luck. There are quite a few layers who are trying to Get River Tiber 15:05 Royal Ascot Beat! They IMO will be in for a rude awakening as this horse steps up a Furlong to 6F.

No bet but one just for interest
Royal Ascot 5-00 Ahorsewithnoname 12.5 Like all these Top meetings anything can actually win at Royal Ascot so I'm just watching this wonderful occasion that I have been lucky to go to a few times. Only two 8yr old have won this race since 1988 and even though AHWNH has won over 2m4f in a Cheltenham listed event I didn't think the mare fully got the Cesarewitch Handicap 2m2f at Flat racing speed. Today she has another 10lbs and another near two furlongs so it will be very interesting watching without a bet. |
