Good things placed, but last leg, 18/1 6/1 10/1 18/1.....£21.00 dividend puts me off playing

That's the Beauty of having a Tote owned by people that decided it would be better for everyone if they " seeded " the Pools.!!
Nobody will ever know what the TRUE payout should be as they won't disclose how many units they have " Bought" themselves,for me the Placepot and other " seeded " pools became unplayable. |

will give it a go to end of week but as regular placepotter( weekends and festivals ) becoming very disillusioned with dividends.

I used to look forward to the large pools at the bigger meetings, but what is the point now.? |

Was following the pool race by race yesterday and I thought the % of units on the fav, 2nd fav etc was roughly in accordance with usual Not defending the nanny goat at all Think it's a disgrace that they can even be allowed to do this "seeding" thing, let alone not declaring how and when they're doing it Could be more revealing if there's a day with "bankers" out of the frame |

Reg if you do the placepot everyday surely you have noticed the difference in the return. Because of the seeding I make the take out nearly 40% guesstimated of course. Yesterday another prime example that should of been near £40 return

Even the win pool seeded, pure corruption. Anyone check the tote returns from all the winning horses yesterday? Even the 18/1 shot returned at industry sp. Like I’ve said before it’s on the same model as Chester bet

Harry, as I said earlier, yesterday the race by race units were about normal for the relative prices
I will agree though that I have seen some smaller than expected returns recently However, I try and perm up to get the bigger dividends Monday evening meeting, wolves I think, had 4 favs and a bit of a result last leg, fav withdrawn late on... That paid 250 quid which I was more than happy with. I will look even closer today at running totals |

... Exactly Tom, I actually put all that forward to the Gambling Commission, and was told in a roundabout way that so long as what they are doing is mentioned in their Terms+Conditions there is not much anyone can do about it. !! Wish I hadnt of bothered FFS.
