Biggest Placepot pools i have ever seen and p1sh poor dividends.

Could of been so diffrent!

Had 3rd 5th and 6th looks like ill break about even, not the bet it once was sadly.

Laid out £96, returned £128.40 .

I do my p/pots on Collosus bets, Paid £41 yesterday, £90 today. Cash outs that don't take the pee as well.Get yourselves over there lads.
I have no connection with Collosus but think it's a good product and how can you trust the Tote with their clandestine behaviour

At Cheltenham I got my stake + 25%.
Huntingdon was much better, stake × 400%.

I've been doing my placepots with Colossus Bets for years, I recommend them. Even if you get to the 4th Leg of a placepot, you can cash out at a decent rate IMO.

they guaranteed £20,000 today casemoney.Usually on a saturday they guarantee £5000 for the biggest meeting. Most meetings its £3000.
Thing is the dividends are usually better than the tote version whatever the pool. If a pool is £1000,000 but someone has inside knowledge and uses it to their advantage I don't want to play under those rules. To my mind it stinks

typed a reply and lost it casemoney. £20,000 guaranteed for cheltenham, usually £500 biggest saturday meeting otherwise £3000. It's not really important though as its the dividend that counts and these are usually better than the tote. Plus your on a level playing field imo. I started on there years ago and haven't done a p/pot with the tote since.Try it

I MUST stress though that YOU have zero chance of doing what i do because using an exchange and bookmakers ONLY is not the way to make money.

The TOTE is the only answer and as an owner it just so happens to tick a few other boxes over and above winning.

So the 1st thing YOU need to know is that SA / HK and Aus is light years ahead when it comes to pool betting. In SA we have % betting, this means that you could work out a Scoop 6 for £12 342 and go to the window and bet £ 10 ands it will print a ticket with your numbers and the % you have of the pool. To some this might appear ludicrous but at that precise moment 2 things occur:

1: the small punter has a chance of catching the Scoop6 and getting a return relative to his lifestyle/spend
2: much more money goes into the pools.

With Colossus Bet at least you're playing the Placepot with other players. I'm not in any way associated with them, but will highlight a company I trust.

Here another thing with doing the Placepot with Colossus, there are no Casinos, You can't do Win singles, it's just great for horse racing and football.

I've cashed out at the 4th, 5th Leg quite a few times after I wasn't happy with my horse drifting late, (seems to be a decent percentage cashout, calculating horses you have left)

Give them a try, the Tote is operating without much respect for punters IMO.

I forgot to mention, you can join daily syndicates on Colossus too, they are good fun for a few quid.

And if your horse really drifts and stinks,(often unplaced if you've been a punter for years)  the Cash out offer does not reflect the market because your up against other players and your horse has already been selected before the off, so tickets left reflect the cash out, which is why I prefer to place laying on here.

Evening all.  I had two £1 lines going on to Luccia in the last. A combination of Betfair and Bank rules limited me to a "cash out" profit of just over £2.5k.  Closest I have ever got got to a big one!!.

Funny enough if I had got through the stayers I would have been in same boat, first of all well done Blackburn and its an interesting convo.

I knew I was on for 7k/8k at least; and loaded and laid as much as I could but....... but a bit pleased to be able to be able to say that I nearly won "£15 grand, pal" which I think is what it would have been if Luccia had been third instead of fourth.

Had four running for me in 5th leg finished 9th 11th 12th and pu sickening, banked luccia in the last, could of got a nice few quid out of place laying it .

Nice one blackbarn....if it makes you feel any better though... if Luccia had finished 3rd instead of 4th, then it would have paid £3256.16 for a £1 line.

Interesting that the ‘Place6’ has paid more than the placepot everyday at Cheltenham so far.

Does anyone know any more about them? I see you can place bets on the 3 65 website from UK. Are they a worldwide operation? Do they have money bet into the pool from other countries too? Where does their liquidity come from?

The Tote are being very slow updating the "live" Placepot webpage today, but I suspect the 1450 has knocked a lot of the tickets out and we are in for another big dividend.

£26.60 profit on that...so lost 28p...do you think he would have placed, bar the jinking at the end?

It has been very slow all day (compared to the first three days of the Festival), so I suspect cockup rather than conspiracy.

I am not for one minute saying there is any hanky panky whilst in running, my point is the Totes own tickets should NEVER be in the pool to begin with, if some are happy with that fair play to them, I will agree to differ.

The issue with advertising guaranteed pools, to me that means they are adding money to the pool, not buying tickets into the pool.

Not sure if that is right or not Tom with the wall of silence from the Tote, if that was the case why not just divide any Bonus the Tote wanted to add to the winners after the event has finished. ??
