and if I had taken note of my son's selection in the first... Stage Star, that he texted me this morning, and added it in instead of just putting Mighty Potter in on it's own, then I would have had it up for 20p.

Interesting that the ‘Place6’ has paid more than the placepot everyday at Cheltenham so far.
Does anyone know any more about them? I see you can place bets on the 3 65 website from UK. Are they a worldwide operation? Do they have money bet into the pool from other countries too? Where does their liquidity come from? |
By:
The Tote are being very slow updating the "live" Placepot webpage today, but I suspect the 1450 has knocked a lot of the tickets out and we are in for another big dividend.

Still going - had the second in that last race.

Paying £118.80 without the 5% top up.

Think I kinda got out of jail.
Had a £26.88 perm with Corbetts Cross as the Banker. So put in a place lay of £28 @ 1.22 which got matched. £26.60 profit on that...so lost 28p...do you think he would have placed, bar the jinking at the end? |

Good luck unclepuncle...rooting for you

Thanks Taft but afraid I went out in the Gold Cup - had Protektorat.

If Corbetts had made the frame, I'd have had 12p going onto the 4.10 where I had the second horse. Then 1-3-7 in the 4.50...

One line is £13.5k with one race to go. It is going to be big!

By:
Well done on getting Corbetts crossed matched at 1.22, I thought it was beat at the time, ! Thats why I dont bet i/r.

Not showing how many tickets on each runner in last leg yet. Something to hide?
By:
It has been very slow all day (compared to the first three days of the Festival), so I suspect cockup rather than conspiracy.
By:
I am not for one minute saying there is any hanky panky whilst in running, my point is the Totes own tickets should NEVER be in the pool to begin with, if some are happy with that fair play to them, I will agree to differ.

1 minute til post of leg 6 and still nothing.

Has anyone answered my question yet as to what happens if the Tote win it outright with one winning unit ??
By:
The issue with advertising guaranteed pools, to me that means they are adding money to the pool, not buying tickets into the pool.
By:
Not sure if that is right or not Tom with the wall of silence from the Tote, if that was the case why not just divide any Bonus the Tote wanted to add to the winners after the event has finished. ??
By:
Glasgow, assuming the seeding claims are correct, presumably they will just declare the dividend (as won) and simply keep the money.
By:
Maybe it is just me, that was what I thought was happening GC.
Like you say though if they were transparent, we would all know |

Whether the payout is 23k or £2-30p it is still a shame that they cant be happy with the 27% alone, had to get even more greedy ... Shame.
By:
Yes 27% free money from those pools not exactly small change.
By:
There is delay getting the latest info from Tote. It is being worked on and details will be updated as soon as possible.
They've copped the lot ![]() |

For the record Collosus paid less at £15384. Guess thats where the biger pool come into its own, trouble is how often does that happen?

The Tote accepted at the outset that situations might arise in which it would effectively “win” money from its customers, while also saying that its ideal scenario would be “to come out neutral in the long term”. Imagine, for instance, that a once-a-year punter finds an outrageous Tricast because three rank outsiders remind them of their husband, their daughter and the next-door neighbour’s dog. A potentially life-changing payout awaits … unless the PGS managed to find it too and reduce the dividend accordingly.
