As Stuart Machin pointed out no "H" (hurdles track) marker on that little strip seems to be key, but then that seems a bit farcical as it means you can go either side which I've never seen in a non X country race

I used to do orienteering when I was a boy, so this would never happen to me, as long as they put a hole puncher on the rails. Terrified of horses though

Maybe they should all have a satnav

As Stuart Machin pointed out no "H" (hurdles track) marker on that little strip seems to be key, but then that seems a bit farcical as it means you can go either side which I've never seen in a non X country race ------------ Correct - Then it is down to the Vagaries of the Clerk of the Course ... Which side of the intended Track do you place the 'H' or 'S'? Pound to a Penny that it is different at Exeter than Ludlow - the way Racing is run. |

^ * Which side of the intended Track do you place the 'H' or 'S'?
---------- On/above the - Left Rail or Right Rail - of the intended track as you approach |

Clerk of the Course mistake surely, not the jockeys? |

I cant see how the FPTP can possibly win
Take 1 route 1 lap one the next. One of the routes must be wrong? |
By:
If inside line is correct obody has won?
If outside is correct OT Bandwagon is the winner? |
By:
Just cos the Stewards cant be a r s e d lol
By:
And if its not the jockeys fault, then the result stands surely?
By:
partition rails passed on your inside as a jockey unless instructed otherwise by flags
By:
'Winning' jock confident as they walked the course.
Let's hope they walked the correct course ![]() |

If there is no H marker you do not go around it. But maybe it was mistakenly not put there
By:

By:
Was on Bandwagon and Seymour so defo think it ll stand lol farcical thou ..

By:
tremendous advert for horse racing this...
and folk think we should be betting on this trash ? |
By:
FPTP should be thrown out, but that would constitute the stewards admitting someone fooked up with the signs. so leave it as it is and hope everyone forgets about it.
By:
won t the jocks need to no result of stewards before 2nd race so they no which side to go in this race,if not they might all go wrong way again
![]() ![]() ,winning jock said rails everywhere because of ground under repair |
