Ian Brennan and Pat O'Donnell were 2 good apprentices a few years ago, Ian was very very good but had issues after the fire that killed up and coming apprentice, Jamie Kyne i think his name was, went back to Ireland riding for McGuiness but disappeared again.

Same here in about 72/73, remember him winning the 1st race of the flat season at Doncaster in the 1st leg of the Crown plus 2 apprentice championship

Neil Graham?...Last heard of in France a few Years ago.

Neil Graham has been a key member of the team at Chelmsford City Racecourse since its launch in 2015 and, having joined the board of directors in 2020, he has recently been appointed to the role of Racing Director.

Think he just gave up. 2006 was some year for him, I remember Les arcs, never backed it. I did have a winner of his in a 2yo listed sprint at the ebor festival that year too

I render his colours so well, used to have plenty with nick littmoden back in the day, guy was all weather champion owner every year without there even being a crown for it. He gave it up too as he was sick of pouring money into it, he was a master of claimed.

I remember Peter Grayson training all those horses with the stoneacre prefix at the same time late 2005, I think he runs a successful car dealership now iirc

I remember him, jeez not many private trainers have ever worked out great. I’m only into racing 20 years or less but can think of a few. Carl Llewelyn/Malcolm Denmark was one that didn’t go too well too, obviously poor old Howard Johnson/wylie
