could win again lol look forward to the next episode if you could top the thread again so we can see its next run as i dont bother with aw but who knows will take more notice on here if this is the quality information aw stuff on here, thanks again as i looked at that ride after the thread and there was nothing to stop him going through and as said its one of the worst ive ever seen and ive seen a few

It was all out and stopping towards the line imo
dodging it would be harsh to use today but its far from straight forward and not very resolute and the run today didn't do anything to tell me anything different. |

So it can't have been just getting tired then? As I said it may never win again and I wouldn't be backing it but I think it's unfair to label the horse as some have done. Plenty of horses never win a race, it doesn't mean they're all dogs.

I think the evidence is there if you watch many of its runs. 100% many just aren't good enough but game and straightforward but imo this one isn't.
You think it might have been tiring, I think it was stopping for other reasons. If everyone had the same opinion it would be a fairly boring life. I have never defended the ride last time but I dk think the horse is far from straightforward |

If a 6 furlong horse runs much faster than it is used to over 5f how do expect them to be finishing their race?

whippin..is this your 1st day ffs? race couldnt have been run any worse for it..done well to even win. Yeah, it had so much in hand yet could only scrape home. What does it matter what tactics were used if it had so much in hand? Just stick to the In Running and posting huge long odds on pokes. I remember the last one you posted!  |

It saw a hell of a lot of daylight and still won. With a bit more restraint next time out it will win hard held.

I got the heads up to back it today but was not worried about the drift as it should of been 2-1 anyway.I was more worried if it got pulled again but just had half stakes on just in case.

And yet it was ridden in completely the opposite way you'd have thought it would be if the above was believed to be true. Saw daylight practically the whole way and was brought under pressure fully a furlong and a half out, plenty far enough out for the horse to throw the towel in if it was so inclined....but still won. |

Do you think Rico it would have won easier, held up and coming late? im not covinced it was there today to win..hence the drift...its never ridden close up ever..its a bridle ponce with a burst..if it was kept for a 16 runner low grade sprint and held up,covered up and ridden with balls it would off 52 won on the snaff..nothing went right today,bounced out..close up seeing plenty daylight..she hit front too early but got away with it. (imo) |

There is an interview with Alastair Down on YouTube on #BettingPeople's channel.
In that interview, Down talks about a horse he part-owned, trained by Sir Mark Prescott. It's interesting in the context of KRAKEN POWER, since AD says that the particular horse in question was trained - and ridden - with the intention of pulling off a 'two-timer', i.e. to win two on-the-spin in a matter of days. The problem with that was that it meant actively stopping - there's no other word for it - the horse from achieving its best placing on its previous runs before the plotted races, which strictly speaking is against the rules of racing. Revealingly, Down prefaces his comments with, 'I think I'm allowed to say this', and then talks about how the horse, 'got lost, running up a sequence of noughts' [my italics]. On the day the was plotted to win, it was beaten at Leicester by a horse of Mick Easterby's that he'd been stopping ! But, entered up the very next day, it duly obliged.
