Being part of a syndicate is often someone else placing the bets and winning losing, albeit with your funds, or share of, does this make you pro?
If I was to make it fully pro each to their own but i'd strongly advise recreational gamblers to stop having a place lay every race, but thats what makes racing fascinating.
