you would not make that unfunny non-joke if she was of say, african or asian heritage. anti-white 'jokes' are ok.

I am no Royalist but think it's in really bad taste to make light of anybody's last moments - certainly any decent human being. Have some respect for a loved mother and grandmother. I'm not devoid of a sense of humour but these aren't the times to take the p1ss.

Big respect for The Queen but when she passes it's time to ditch The Monarchy...It belongs to a time that has long gone.

rubbish. like it or not, these isles have been a monarchy for a long time. a change so radical must be thoroughly examined. you must be confident its absolutely the right thing and evidence should be overwhelmingly in favour. and not the result of a simple majority vote, like brexit. it should require a large majority. but is the case strong enough?

greece italy and portugal were 20th century monarchies that became republics, and are among the most corrupt countries in europe.

sweden  norway and denmark are the least corrupt, and are all monarchies.

the monarch is head of state and a figurehead above the president but has no power and is not allowed to be political. presidents are and can be corrupted by power  ambition vanity and money, like putin xi castro maduro kim whatsisname and plenty of others.

president johnson anyone? and how much power does a president get? in france, way too much, thanks to degaulle.

and in russia it has lead to dictatorship and war because of one mans ambition. and highlights the  reason we have the royal air force and royal navy, but british army.

if you were setting up a state today, you wouldnt. but it aint really worth getting too agitated about. monarchs are also a lot cheaper than presidents and bring in boatloads of tourists. they love it. the mall is a strange place. the case for abolition is not well-made, when you remove the resentment and loathing.

i have zero interest in it and find those that do a strange.

We will never see another Queen like this, she hasn't put a foot out of place in seventy years. She has been a real credit to this country and has put up with an awful lot first from her jack the lad husband and then from her children who have let her down in many ways.
