If only the bill really were stationary!
The other way of looking at the Paterson affair is that it's what you get when the state runs things - corruption, waste, backhanders to mates, etc. After all, it's not their money, and there's plenty more where it came from. |
|
By:
The lack of accountability (leading to corruption etc) is just a symptom of party politics imo
You lurch from a leftish govt with a big majority (with weak/pathetic opposition) and give them long enough they feck it up badly enough to sway back to rightish govt with a big majority (with weak/pathetic opposition) - zig-zagging has never been the quickest, cheapest or most efficient way of getting anywhere. Problems that need solving with a long term plan (i.e. most problems) don't ever get solved. With party politics (especially 2 party politics like here and the USA) you just stay in opposition long enough (no matter how bad you are*), you just have to wait and your time will come by default position that you might be less hopeless than the current hopeless lot! - A shocking system that never fails to deliver mediocrity time after time. * Neil Kinnock the exception to the rule - obviously just waiting didn't work for him but he was a special case of hopeless! |

Makes no difference whatsoever who you vote in.....you get the same result, they are all just puppets.

It's true DancingBrave - and unfortunately all the people that could do it properly are too busy betting in running horses on here!

I had an even monkey on Kinnock to win the '92 Election.
![]() Ladbrokes were always best price Labour in that election. I still maintain they fixed it. I know it looks a like a cretinous bet now, but think of it the other way round - I was laying Major and THAT Tory government at evens. Put that way, I'd have the bet again. |
|
By:
Agree Evens would have seemed like a cracking bet for '92 screaming - but on balance I don't think he ever recovered from that tumble he took into the sea (and there wasn't even any social media back then)

Get yourself off to Austria and join all the other Nutjob/up for a fight / Anti vax mob.
" Driven by anxiety and conspiracy " |

Just a freakish year for this happening, JLS, with the likes of Eriksen and Aguero. Just a coincidence.

You have to laugh, I pass on some breaking news to the forum, and GLASGOWCALLING gets all aggressive, but I'm the one who's "up for a fight"

I just hope the vaccinated respect the backlog in the NHS crisis and don't ring their GP or go to hospital requesting a check up due to vaccine concerns even if they have paid their FULL 35 YEARS!!!

No probably about it, George.

Btw, how convenient for the makers of these fast tracked, not fully trialed "vaccines" that they're in no way liable for any side effects a person may experience from them. There's no vaccine compensation scheme in place. If this doesn't get you asking questions, then nothing will.

No vaccine concerns here Fraudy/carla, actually getting the booster and a flu jab on the same day later in the week. Happy days.
|
|
By:
Whippin- there is a vaccine act but it has to severely disabled you to claim a one off payment of 120K - not much use if you're 25

By:
Wouldn't recommend doing it here, not with the North Easterly's we're currently getting. lol
|
|
By:
Exactly Carla. Looks like the state have to pick up the tab too. The makers of these "vaccines" have had a right touch.
|
|
By:
Glasgow- Know alot who can't wait to get their booster, glad for them, I'm just stuck in no mans land like about 5 million others

Do we know if Fleck, Ericsson were vaccinated?
|
|
By:
Only 0.5% of poorer countries have been vaccinated. This is by design of course. These big pharmaceutical companies are relying on different strains emerging from these countries, like the delta variant. They can then start banging out boosters to wealthy countries. What an absolute racket!
|
|
By:
Profiteering at its ugly worst.
|
|
By:
Let's not forget the 100bn in taxpayer funding they've received from wealthy countries to help fund development of the vaccine and the low rate of tax they pay.
