Pyledriver won 'best turned out' so maybe ITV Racing should start employing whoever that was - though I guess if they aren't black it won't help their diversity quota.

he is just a guesser, never seen him pick anything outside the first few favs and always gives about 3 horses.
£1 level stakes to the horses he gives a big upto must be horrendous! Seems an ok bloke, but is certainly no paddock expert. |

so joint second fav and 6 finished in front of him and 4 behind, inc 40/1, 50/1, 200/1 and 9/1.
Think he looks at his racecard more than the horses and has a stab in the dark and hope for the best. I just hope he doesn't bet his "paddock picks" |

When i used to go racing a lot 3+ years ago the only real time i found paddock watching useful was very early 2 year old races/unraced horses and 3 year olds first time out for the season. Used to get quite a few nice price winners, and was definitely profitable.
Rest of the time its pointless in my opinion, form, ground, track etc is what to look at. |

I never saw this guy at a pre parade ring ever until the Newmarket July Cup when for some reason they had the TV crew in the pre parade ring for 1/2hr before racing. I go racing all the time and park myself at the paddock and pre parade rings and in over 10 years only ever seen this guy once.
