60 pound general admission then 80 pound for paddock and 120 for winning post absolute disgrace

They know that people are desperate to get out and about and are taking full advantage. People say the bookies are destroying the game, I would say take a closer look at the racecourses. Media rights payments, levy payments, race and other sponsorship payments and now the admission money will come rolling in again. Where's it all going? Because its certainly not all going into the prize money, I would say only a fraction of what they make goes towards it. Look at the prize money on offer at Salisbury tonight. Derisory!

Do the racecourses get a cut of the catering profits too? When the "music" nights start up again they will be raking even more in. Racecourses should be made to throw open their books.

Only live a couple of miles from the course , wouldn't go if it was 60p.

Rather pay a bit more and go to the nearest greyhound track.

Dreadful place.

sadly, be plenty delighted with their £45 for a tenner. blissfully unaware they've just been robbed.

yes hulk a lot of 1st time novice racegoers would probably be happy with evens for that 7/2  which should have been 7/1

Only the Rich can attend

They don't want the riff raff or the great unwashed on their property

They want the prawn sandwich and champagne swiging, coke snorting, spent 5k on my handbag for today clients through the door. Working class foke who might have a blob of mustard on their primark ill fitting t-shirt after grabing a burger need not apply for a ticket

There is a lot out there. Unfortunately society has made the separation from the rich to the poor a big chasma.... there are people out there earning more in 60 seconds then many earn in a lifetime. Always been the case, but the middle people are closer to poverty then being rich.

Even if you earn a £1bn a year, it's only £9k+ a minute, assuming 35hrs aweek 52 weeks a year.
If you were on the dole you'd get more than that in a lifetime.

Personally, they'd have to pay me to go racing at Chester.

Unbelievable prices...last time I went to Chester decided never to go again as it was too crowded and very time consuming to queue up for drink and over priced food.

It looked deserted on ATR,they did send emails out to their loyal customers on Wednesday offering it at half price but obviously too late, same half price offer at next meeting.

been once but did not enjoy it, horrible crush points, impossible to move around.
Not a nice experience, think cow at cattle market type day, at 60 quids I would  find a nice spot to take advantage of from outside and watch  the action for free.

everyone seemed  overdressed, not like a race crowd I had seen anywhere else, not an experience I could recommend.

Unfortunately this mob have taken over Musselburgh, won't be back there either.

Give me Catterick, Perth, Beverly or Aintree any day of week.

Can't believe they charge that much, very uncomfortable with large crowds, they can keep it at that price and the same goes for Cheltenham in many ways, ridiculous prices pricing the poor out.
