left and right in politics, are purely subjective.where would you say the Democrats stand in regard to the British conservative party ?.If you were to judge the the public goods delivered by both parties in the states, ie state health care, free education,welfare provision.You could make the case that the democrats are at least to the right as the conservative s in this country.The USA is a conservative country,which is full of free market fundamentalists,it really is winner take all. Nothing good ever comes from the extremes,left or right....When the centre doesn't hold things fall apart. |

Do you think the French would vote to stay in the EU if they had a referendum? Those I speak to would vote leave so I don't get your point. And your problem with Andrew is silly. Personally I don't like Trump but I do believe in fair play because the day may come when I am at the wrong end of it. And I don't think the way the media and the press have treated either Brexit of Trump. Fortunately I won off Brexit but that was because the press didn't really like Cameron and Osbourne. If they had known Leave would win, their approach would have been the same as the press have treated Trump, but they found out too late. The press and media threw everything they could at stopping Brexit but they failed then sadly they threw everything at Trump and won so they will continue to think they are the king makers. |

I may have have been at times under an influence of Brandy etc,the past 14 months morphia etc when posting on here but as far as I know never told a lie despite trolls trying to disredit me,none have yet pointed out a lie. Maybe you did not post an intentional lie but unfortunately for you if I was a prosecutor or a DA in American parlance you would be looking for either a public defender or selling your land in France to employ a defence lawyer on here? |

It is amazing how few casualties there were given the circumstances,shot through a FROSTED window carrot? One of my cards says "Fire single,well aimed shots" after firing a warning shot in the air,would I have done that,would I bollox!!!! |

As an aside casemoney,he went "South" for a short vacation last year and saw Marco riding work,he had hoped to see him riding in a race but unfortunately neither he or Marco got the chance.Told him earlier about the ban Marco got and all he said was "Maybe the kid will learn something,if he did that here it would have been a big fine and a longer ban"
Tried to explain about the totting up rule and that imo his "Offence" was pretty minor,he dismissed that saying the only worse offence on US tracks was pulling a fancied horse.Horses for courses I suppose but given how they use the whip even in low purse races with impunity I suppose I will have to agree to disagree with him about rules. |

FFs a US officer was under fire last year for using too much force on a well known black criminal who died in the struggle. Not shot dead. Yet now we have a young woman shot dead through a door by a US officer with a single shot and that is OK? Where is the double standard?
I am not an apologist if life is in acute danger then defence must be used but shooting someone dead with a single shot, not a warning shot was not life in danger stuff. |

Maybe if George Floyd wasn't trying to pass off fake money/cheque in the first place, whilst high on Fentanyl, then sitting in the drivers seat of a car whilst under the influence - a car that I would assume he was going to drive, then also resisting arrest (he refused to get in a Police car but was fine in the drivers seat of a car when they arrived though), just maybe the Police wouldn't have to have got him on the floor and used a Police procedure to restrain him, he would also likely to have been known to be a violent criminal to the Officers who turned up (you know like when he put a gun to a pregnant womans belly). Should he have died how he did, absolutely not, but it could also have been avoided if he was simply a law abiding citizen, or even a criminal who just got in the Police car. As for the Police Officer who did it, we have to assume the numerous complaints came to nothing, or else he wouldn't be a serving officer would he. |

My point was a man died being 'restrained' by a police officer who accidentally killed him and all hell let loose through the media. At Capitol Hill a young woman was shot dead through a door, one shot, not accidental, and the press are saying it was justified. What double standards is that? The only reason it was justified is because she was a Trump supporter. |
