and where is the rest of the country dave
|
|
By:
and are you happy with the number of covid deaths we're having now? You seemed to be dismayed that the deaths were too low a few weeks back?
|
|
By:
In the rest of the country someone who is taken by a lying conman is also a mug or maybe a simpleton.
|
|
By:
and you expect respect?
|
|
By:
yes dave.
went to brighton last weekend and bought my wife a 4 grand ring for xmas.not too shabby. |

The fact of the matter is that twenty years ago people like you (and me) didn't talk to anyone or give views to more that a couple of dozen people in a week. Now you can talk nonsense to the whole world - the price of that is that people are going to call you a mug. Either accept that or stop posting because it isn't going to change.

dave i respect your opinion,i was on the wind up with trump and im sure youre a decent bloke.

You do realise that he is not officially President until he is sworn in on the 20th January...plenty of time between now and then for a health scare at which point the 1000-1 Kamala Harris would look like a steal.
|
|
By:
you sound shrood
|
|
By:
@deeppockets -- you are right that Kamala Harris might be the next president (and so might Mike Pence) but that is not what we are betting on. The market is not who will be president but rather who won the election, and will be settled on who wins the Electoral College vote tomorrow.
At least that is what Betfair has said, though by the market rules, they should have settled over a month ago, so caveat emptor and all that. |
|
By:
some believe Trump will resign so Pence can pardon him

I heard you Glentoby, but I think you are wrong.
Boris certainly never lied any more than the line up of MP's who railed against him. Osbourne was one of the worst and Brown. But one thing is certain. If I was running the Leave campaign the last person I would want to lead it would be Boris, not because I don't like him because I do, but because if anyone else of similar stature such as Cameron or even Blair, with his back catalogue, or Osbourne or even May had led the Leave campaign they would have won by a landslide and this would all have been done and dusted. He was definitely an anchor round Leave's neck because his record was used at every opportunity against leaving just as it is, by you, now. |

|
By:
a month ago I posted about free money on trump % of vote at 60. 50+ court case losses later you can still lay this ultimate moron bet at 65.
not even trump thinks he is gpoing to get the 35m extra votes he needs to reach the 61% target. a very sad and depressing state of affairs as far as the general IQ level of the planet goes. |

i think he might do it,its achievable

Hard to fault your opinion Charlton and if you wanted to confine it solely to the USA it would unfortunately be a fair reflection in terms of almost every president they ever elected.I gave Obama the benefit of the doubt in terms of not being as corrupt as most and would stand by that assertion.
As the UK and USA are held up to the rest of the world as the best examples of democracy, your opinion reflects why we should not be rushing to rubbish those that beg to differ, and rightly so,well done for saying as much. |
|
By:
still a few £100 a month limit mugs about
laid trump >61% at 38/40 backed trump >49.5% at 50 backed biden |
|
By:
that should say backed biden less than 55m votes at 70
this is all just in the last 2 hours I am so full up I am reduced to trading to free up funds |

Betfair suspended the various presidential markets a few minutes ago. They think it's all over...
...unless there's a 4am dump of electoral college votes for Trump. |

Electoral colleges confirmed votes. Surely all over now.

Almost zero chance that Betfair are going to settle on Monday or Tuesday. ..... just out of interest, where did you actually escape from? |

Weighed in and everyone paid.
![]() Never in doubt since JB surpassed 270 electoral votes, even 1.03 yesterday was good odds. Well done all backers. All the huffing and blowing by DT came to nothing and was simply to appease his deluded supporters and make them believe the election was tampered with. I couldn't care less how JB performs, but i really hope karma haunts DT, i sense he is going to be in the news for some while to come. |

Good morning Andrew. Hope you are well. Expecting a vaccination soon?
With regard to DT, have you personally had any dealings with him or are your views based on newspaper and television reports? |
|

Trump has completely destroyed any remaining credibility he might have had by refusing to go graciously. Even the supreme court with the 6-3 conservative majority told him to do one. One thing I have learned from this is just how easily led sections of the population are. When the facts come out and deny rational debate, there's always the conspiracy theories to fall back on.
|
|
By:
Trump's twitter account tells you all you need to know about him.
brigust from where do you get your information that you regard as true? |
|
By:
Storm, it is disturbing and depressing and has clearly led to people like David Koresh etc
Brigust, give it up fella. You've exposed yourself as a moron. No one is listening to your sh1te on trump, vaccine or anything else you've got. |

Me too. First off the ignorance of their own voting system and how it works but mainly that faced with overwhelming truth (and no evidence of the lies spouted) people are just so pig-headed to admit they are wrong. I suggest some of you go and read what the Republican party has always stood for (it's core principals) and while one can disagree with them one has to respect them but their behaviour over the last few weeks has exposed their raw need for power at all costs. Compare those (federalist) principals with their actions of the last few weeks and you might begin to understand the damage done to the GOP by their ridiculous fealty to Trump. Trump who was a registered Dem until about 2010 I also suggest people go and see how Trump has behaved in the past from those the have had dealings with him and will see that he has behaved here exactly how he as always done. He can afford to out-lawyer (sic) people so he does and claims a victory when in reality he is obviously just a bully. Unfortunately (for him) the US Justice system was not his to his to do his bidding hence his usual way of 'winning' not happening here. At some point people will realise just what a ****how his presidency has been but it may not be for a while. Biden is nowt special but he is at least competent! |
|
By:
Great post, fully agree. Hopefully the next four years will be quite mundane and boring politically and people will again begin to realise that's largely how politics should be.
