does everybody still believe these intermittent blackouts are caused by server upload pmsl....??? funny how they always seem to occur at the business end of the race when something critical or carnagey happens rather tha at the start when everyone is logging on putting a strain on the servers...but then i was always a cynical ****

The only people who tell you that are the one who have access to the fast pictures want all this to go away drones and all so they can keep reaping in the big bucks we haven’t a fkn chance at the moment definitely getting worse day by day and profits becoming so hard to get for instance today at Hereford delays going to the fence in the first chase and Wolverhampton delays always on the turn for home it’s a fkn joke and so blatant but all we can do is highlight the problem and hope something is done but I very much doubt anything will change

its quite simple..unless you have access to the quickest pics available do not get involved last 3f..

you not all going for the same thing though? Soon as see winner striding ahead like winner, yous all clicking at same
time, only the fastest drone pics getting the cream/matched...must be hard even 2nd hand and a .2 behind 1st hand then some with overrides on hence going silly low prices too early, like there in the 2.23 race, 1.22 the 2nd ffs...was neck n neck 50/50 but they take 1.22...you see where theyve scooped low as the price will go very low then spike back out Be a few at the top making fortunes using them, reckon the rest of you are paying for them to do so |

Excuse my naivety and my probable repetition of posts above, but I'm finding that today's Fontwell LV pics are much much slower than usual. Only 2 secs faster than Sky 415 and seemingly minutes slower than the fastest fingers out there.
Am I imagining it or where exactly are we with LV latency now compared with recent relative stability? |

So its + 1.5 behind live not - 1.5 (obviously). Sky used to be around 4 secs slower than BLV but I measured it at only 2 secs slower than BLV in the 3.58 at Fontwell.
Simple question, have the drones completely changed the inrunning status quo, because I now seem further behind events than I have ever been? For NH it seems to be almost unworkable. |

The drones have filled a gap in the market because racing tv and sky provide delayed pics, which for some reason seem slower on some days more than others. Sky is the bigger delay so you've got no chance playing late on in the race.
Greeny is the expert so if he reads this he can fill you in better than me, Loper. |

In saying that ^^^ Dusty loves sky tracks. Makes money there, all depends on how your strategy for playing i/r I suppose.

I had the same problem Jet, 3 races in a row were unwatchable, was watching on a large screen tv connected to a decent desktop and using one of my laptops to place bets on gruss.
I tried using them the other way round and it was much better. I don't do a lot of in play, used to subscribe to racing tv but pics were far too slow so cancelled that when covid kicked in, keep getting e-mails to go back to them but BLV is so much faster when working I won't bother. Not missing much, got fed up with all the childish waffle on there anyway. |
