Got two broadband lines and have just setup an old laptop to run side-by-side for this race to compare.
By:
They had this meeting sorted the other day
Obv. a fluke. Realised they were providing a reasonable product so 'fixed' it |
By:
scrap that, that was sedge
Another snidey snake track |
By:
Infinitely better than the first, but still plenty of stops and starts. Had a couple of extra black screens on the laptop (BT connection) over the desktop (Zen).
By:
i got away with using minimum in that one had a constant kinda minipause going on but just about usable
By:
other day when it pretty much worked, did anyone else notice the screen was a fraction bigger? only a fraction but i had to magnatise to 225% instead of 250% i normally do
By:

Is someone standing outside the atr van with magnets in their pockets? |
By:
You're lucky it's only affecting you at the last, JCM!
By:
Why doesn't someone at bf talk to someone at ATR over the phone while watching these races, and say 'look at the bag of sh1t you have been selling us'
Should be ashamed |
By:
Champions Day Streaming doesn't that say it all quick feeds for that day, slow for others atr killing i/r.
By:
Re Champions Day, i've checked with Rod Street CEO of the Champions series and he confirmed RTV hold the streaming rights. It will be on all channels RTV/ATR/ITV but the stream should be from RTV. (RTV have also confirmed this to me)
By:
Boot- So ATR don't have exclusive rights to Ascot is that what you are saying?
By:
Champions day is a separate arrangement.
By:
Thanks John
By:

Betfair Horse Racing 10 Oct 20 14:24
Hi All, As champions day is an Independent event Betfair have been able to secure a lower latency feed for Champions Day at Ascot as a one off that otherwise wouldn’t usually be available to us. As such users with experience a lower latency feed when watching racing from Ascot on Champions Day. Cheers |

By:
jimmy, I hear many play without visual. Never tried that yourself?
By:
So the technology is there but they wont use it on a regular basis, fking shocking, contracts or not. That's absolute nonsense from them, should be getting
used all the time not yet snipey |
By:
no photo freeze frame on RTV there....
yet folk were betting the winner at 1.01 without seeing the photo... coz nobody is betting at the track right...?? |

Seemed alright there. Come winter if you're sat watching Newcastle and Plumpton or whatever, hoping the odd stream is playable, then you'll need sectioning imo
