By:
i think i did post at the time the dog was in hiding, he looked a bit rough
By:
other dog is a parsons so he's just a tidy up, think mine's the bigger job
By:
to add islt to injury the missus only used them once on the dogs now sends them to a dog groomer service £28 per dog
,said it was too much hard work trying to cut the dogs as the little fookas wouldnt stay still ! |
By:
our other dog goes every 6 weeks and it's 50 quid, so the clippers look like a bargain
By:

back on thread topic, this transport thing is showing what a farce these lockdown measures are, hardly any masks and packed transport, makes the rest of the population ask the question why are we bothering?

It was always going to happen. What do you expect people in London to do? It costs a fortune to drive your car through there.

It was always going to happen. What do you expect people in London to do? It costs a fortune to drive your car through there. Exactly this. When that bluffer Johnson says go back to work, if you can't work from home, what are people who are on the brink going to do? They are going to go to work, and London is a city built round public transport. What does Johnson think they are going to do, get their chauffeur to drive them to work at their job paying minimum wage? His lack of decisive action cost lives and his terrible mixed messaging over the weekend will cost more. But as a country we voted him and his band of grifters in, so we get what we deserve. |
By:
I didn't know that Devil so thanks. But how many people in London don't have a car?
By:
When you watch other countries it is MANDATORY if in a shop or on public transport to wear a mask/covering..but we know better.
By:
If you live in or around London, owning a car is for those with the disposable income to afford one. London is so well served by public transport that it makes no sense to own one if the choice is that are spending the money on putting food on the table and clothing your kids.

I don't think it's a bad thing anyway. As long as they are not in contact with vulnerable groups then the quicker they all get it and get over it the better.
By:

By:
use common sense would be a possible, wear their own mask, but more useful would be maybe if the govn had allowed the transport network more warning when it's on a reduced service and could barely cope with the volume they already had, or better guidance for staff and commuters to cope with those too thick to make a decision, i don't know honcho what does google say today?

If thats directed at me Elise my post was directed at the OP comments not yours.

are those photos genuine ? no-one wearing masks and bottom right photo looks wrong type of clothing for temperatures.
By:
exactly honchy..obv the plan is to infect the whole country..only the vulnerable will suffer the consequences..they are collateral damage and be back to normal by 2021.
By:
I hope you are wrong Willie. I hope all the vulnerable are taking precautions and their families are looking after them.

What else are we supposed to do? We're not going to get to work on a Welsh Cob or some bloody Irish Draft. |

Oh, come on everyone.
Take another look at the pictures the OP has posted. Do you really think that EVERY SINGLE PERSON in those pictures would be without a face-mask? I live in the country and you see about a third of the people, at least, wearing face masks. So, I would think that at least one person in all those pictures would have on a face mask. They are photos of before the lockdown. A good example of how media of any kind can manipulate opinion. |

Photo top-left in Willie's opening post is from an article on the SurreyLive website dated 14 May 2019.
