Thanks all especially stridingedge for all your efforts.

Just in from being out all day, train broke down on way home too. Apologies for not posting anything sooner (I'm old & don't have one of those new fangled phones). I've just this minute seen the results & read the race comments of my lay's effort today - it's not unusual to see my BACK fall at the last but this is a first. Sounds like the best news was the horse & jockey were OK.

I'm sure we all agree that we would like this comp to be a permanent fixture.
